Our family came here the other night and we did a takeout order and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the cashew chicken. I also ordered a barbecue pork noodle dish and then we ordered a sweet-and-sour chicken dish.
In addition to that we ordered two appetizers. One was eggrolls, and the other was crab Rangoon.
The staff was really helpful when I called to put my order in and when I came to pick it up, it was promptly ready. The food was super good and we would definitely come back again.

The food was great but our soup wasn’t hot, it was barely warm.

Always our favorite chinese food pick. Lots of quality ingredients, everything tastes unique, fresh and authetic. Excellent service when we dine in and i have never had an inaccurate order yet when we do place a to go order after many years of patronage. Portions are excellent. Some of our favorites are lemon chicken, crispy pan fried noodles, walnut shrimp, egg flower soup, duck, sweet and sour and chinese broccoli…. i havent tried anything that i didnt like yet….our friends even drive from fillmore, santa barbara, santa clarita etc. Similar to chesters in Camarillo.

Came for lunch and we had the lunch special which features a large selection of amazing dishes. Parking is easy as it’s in a large shopping center. The dishes were tasty and well prepared. The server was excellent as she had solid opinions when we asked about dishes. This is always appreciated, a server that knows and enjoys the menu. The ambiance is wonderful. You will find a dimly lit dining room with beautiful wood and Chinese decor. They offer a full bar and generous lunch special. If you love Chinese food you will love this place. Definitely will be back again soon.

We were so excited to find a dim sum place in Ventura but it was a huge disappointment. Our dim sum orders took about an hour to get delivered to our table. The server kept reassuring us that they were coming and dim sum just takes longer. All the other tables had been served by this time, even the ones who came after us.
Apparently, the kitchen printer broke so the kitchen never received our order. We would have appreciated a heads up but the server did not seem to care. She did not offer water or the fried won ton chips that all the tables got. We only got an update after repeated follow-ups.
The owner also came over, apologized and offered us a discount. It would have been fine if the food was spectacular but it was not. The har gao was doughy and a lot of the dim sum seemed to be not that fresh. Just a very huge letdown over-all.

Wonderful service. My favorite part was the young woman serving us new exactly what I meant when I asked for my chow mien with sprouts and no actual noodles. I was so excited to find a place that did it like Lee’s Chinese restaurant in Santa Paula did when I was a kid. So happy. Everyone should give it at least a one time eat and let us know what you think about it. It’s in the high 90 percentile with me right now.

Realistically, the only decent Chinese restaurant, locally. Many flavorful options to choose. Lunch menu is an inexpensive option, however, smaller portions and no appetizer included for $14. The lunch specials do provide soup and salad. My preference is to try the Peking or Chef Dinners for $3 more that will offer you a full course meal with optional choices at an affordable price, per person. Tastefully decorated dining area with a modern, casual setting. Clean restaurant and restrooms. Friendly staff.

When I say we’ve been coming to this restaurant for years… I mean 15+ years! We started coming when a guy named Roger owned it and then Margaret and her husband bought it from him. We come here for every special occasion: Mother’s day, Father’s day, birthdays, anniversaries, etc you name it. They cook genuine Chinese cuisine. Margaret is an amazing chef and everything she serves us you can tell was made with love. We usually order the same things : chili wontons, steamed fish with ginger /scallions, eggplant with ground pork, extra crispy orange beef, pan fried three flavor noodles, green beans, honey walnut or fried whole shrimp, and sometimes when it’s really special.. We get the Peking duck. For some reason I’ve never left a review and maybe that’s just because I’m lazy. But Margaret does such an amazing job cooking up the best Chinese cuisine, her restaurant is always busy! She knows my family and always makes sure she comes to our table to say hi. Sometimes she’ll even send us a freshly made plate of her sesame red bean balls for dessert! I’ll always continue to come here because there just isn’t any other Chinese restaurant as authentic and delicious as hers in the Ventura County.

The amount of food that was served was mirserably small.I know cost of food is high, but you cannot serve a plate with the the amount equal to the size of a child fist. Besides, the taste was very average

I don’t know why that restaurant went downhill, but judging by the food, it’s obviously struggling. Last time I ordered food here a couple of years ago and the food was fine. Today it was so bad that we just couldn’t eat it. The chicken was overfried, tough, dried out, and had a strong bitterness of old oil. It tasted like they took chicken that was cooked a while ago and fried it again. Now, the fried rice. It’s the first time I’ve seen fried rice without any vegetables at all and no egg in it. Well, to be fair, I saw two tiny bits of egg in the entire box. The rice was also obviously not freshly cooked and dried out. The egg rolls were the most edible out of everything we ordered. But the only vegetable in the vegetable rolls was raw cabbage. Again, I don’t know what happened to this restaurant that affected the food quality so drastically, but I’m definitely not coming back. There are so many better options around.
