Food is a mix of Chinese, Mongolian and sushi. Limited options and maybe because we were there on a Monday afternoon, food wasn’t as good and somewhat sitting there. Kids didn’t like it but for &12.99, I think it’s an okay deal. Regular Chinese scaled down menu, our server was attentive, decoration consisted of ancient Mongolian artifacts. Won’t be going back.

I’m usually cautious with Chinese buffets because I’ve gotten sick at quite a few in the past, but this place completely changed my mind. Hands down the best Chinese buffet I’ve ever had. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Really solid across the board.

The sushi train was such a fun addition, since I had always wanted to go to one, but never had the chance. The only thing I tried that I didn’t love was the bacon, but that’s not a reason to go to a Chinese restaurant anyway. Everything else absolutely amazing.

My family of four all agreed this place was phenomenal, especially for the quality, variety, and price of $17 per person. Service was also on point, with multiple staff checking in on us throughout our meal. Super fast, super attentive.

We’ll 100% be back. If you’re on the fence about trying it, go for it. It is totally worth it. We are thinking about going back tomorrow, ourselves!

The Mongolian grill is fantastic. Wide variety of selections for when you make your own bowl. Cooked in front of you. Buffet is alright maybe a 6/10. Food stays pretty fresh and service is good enough to get you through the night. Sushi was not the best. Atmosphere is pretty calm. Great place, highly recommend.

I have never been to a buffet this nice. The decor is gorgeous and even the ceiling has artful panels. You can see the hibachi grill at work and the sushi chef preparing in behind the conveyor. The waitstaff were frequently checking the food, tidying the place and refilling drinks. The food is phenomenal. Everything I put on my plate surpassed my expectations and I even tried new dishes because they looked so good. I found some new favorites. The most surprising thing is that the dinner buffet was under $20 per person and beyond worth it.

The thing I love most about Peking is their consistent great quality. There’s never been any hit-or-miss meals in 25 years. They never make me wonder what mystery meat I may be eating. Their General Tso’s Chicken is ALWAYS made of thick pieces of tender white meat, and their vegetables are fresh! Real green beans cooked tender-crispy with garlic; fresh spinach sauteed with garlic as well. Yum! Cannot say enough good things about Peking!

STILL… after 15 years, this is my favorite restaurant in all of JCC. Now that they have lowered the to-go price it’s even better. I have never once had a complaint and they know me and my Mom (who adores this place) by first name and often greet us with hugs believe it or not….because we’ve eaten here multiple times a week for years. Incredibly nice staff, the best Mongolian Chefs and grill you can ask for. A bountiful buffet with high quality food and always fresh. Usually if empty or needing refreshing the staff quickly rectifies. Just let them know. The staff at front entrance are always welcoming. There’s a reason the vast majority of reviews are glowing. I am grateful for Peking and Mongolian Grill! See y’all again…um tomorrow.

We ordered a relatively large order and everything was ready when we got here. We received crab Rangoon instead of fried wontons (unless we misread the menu).

The portion sizes were very large and the people who worked there were nice! Orange chicken was very spicy, but delicious!

Hello everyone residence and vacationers , It’s been a while since I’ve been here the last time over a year plus the food was terrible, but I came back with the family. Food was good. Service is good, place looked much nicer, very professional, maybe new management, but no matter what I was totally satisfied, so grab your family come on out and have a great Chinese Buffet for a good price. $16.95 adults.

PEKING RESTAURANT

Yelp, which is typically more critical than the Google Maps Crowd, had ratings all over the place – and that’s how I feel too – 2.5 if I could, so 3 to be fair

GOOD: Friendly hostess, good NON Chinese dishes, decor is festive and fun, and sushi was good

BAD: Restaurant organization, non-present Mongolian/noodle cook, the Chinese dishes were below the quality of 16/person

IMP: 16.00 for dinner person (no soda). General per pound take out was 7.99/lb

Good news first – I was hoping this strip mall find would surprise to the upside. It did have positives. The fun ornamental layout was cool, the hostess was very nice and dishes like Korean beef, Thai rice and Mac n cheese with bacon were good. But if Iam eating these items, it because the traditional Chinese food was flat.

The Bad news – sauce central (as I call it) was not to be found. Typically, all the sauces are all together in large quantities. They had some sauces all over and many were packets – lost time.

The sushi, though good, was served via some weird conveyor belt style – two pieces per tiny plates. It felt like a dessert factory taken over by sushi – a clunky set up even the employee seemed unsure about (take the baby plates or just the sushi off them).

The biggest negative was the Chinese food quality – flat, dry, or often the reverse – a meat dish floating in sauce.

I would pass. At 13.99 I would be more generous but the quality is not there.

Food was good and there was a good variety! They had a moving conveyor belt sushi bar. They also had a Mongolian style grill where you picked your own fresh ingredients. As well as the standard buffet style food. They were able to accommodate a peanut allergy easily and made a special order to ensure safety, although they stated there was only a handful of dishes with peanuts included and all things were cooked in vegetable oil. The restroom was in pretty low order and was half under construction. The floors were kinda sticky around the buffet. Otherwise it was a pretty neat place. It had a lot of interesting art pieces as well.
