Go to for Chinese take out. Always consistent and plenty of food with a smile. The owners are very kind.

Peking house has become our go to for Chinese takeout after our previous favorite place cut quality and raised prices. I wish we had tried it sooner! The food is excellent and servings are plentiful. Service is always fast and the folks running the place are super nice. Don’t let the overall lower review scores fool you, this place is excellent.

I ordered $35 worth if food yesterday. It was over cooked and drowned in sauce to cover it up. The rice was the only thing that was decent but was giving very little. I should of listened to the reviews but they were some time ago. However, this is a place I will not be coming back to.

My new “go to” place for Chinese cuisine. Their food is delicious. You won’t be disappointed! Just one little tip to the great chefs there. Please don’t over fry the fried noodles. They should be a pale golden color. They are dark, and taste burnt. But everything else is awesome! Nice people too.

Had the steamed dumplings and the Generals chicken, it tastes just like my hometowns Chinese place. Very good and very happy to find a place that reminds me of home.

As a military family coming from overseas to the US we were really excited to eat from a great quality yet affordable Chinese/Mongolian BBQ restaurant and after researching The Peking House seemed to fit the bill. We ordered from the Lunch Special Platter:
L5 Sweet and Sour Chicken (white meat)
L13 General Tso’s Chicken (white meat)
L14 Pepper Steak
L15 Beef w/ Broccoli
L19 Shrimp w/ Cashews
all totaling $34 and all paired with browned rice and an egg roll.
During the COVID-19 crisis everyone is concerned about safety, at The Peking House you can rest assured your food and packaging is being treated with the upmost care. Everyone was wearing face masks and gloves making sure to follow all CDC guidelines regarding social distancing.
The food itself was exceptional. When they say white meat they mean the best quality. The broccoli was cooked but crisp tender denoting its freshness as was the zucchini in the shrimp w/ cashews meal. The egg rolls were crisp and warm. Again, everything was delicious and of great quality especially for the price!
I truly cannot recommend this restaurant enough and I hope everyone living in or visiting Williamsburg will try this amazing restaurant!

I ordered a small beef and broccoli. It was not tasty at all and on top of that overpriced. It didn’t even taste like Chinese food to me! The lady that served me was pleasant though.

They closed for renovations and when they reopened the quality and taste or should I say No Taste was Terrible. Pork fried rice had little to no pork though I was eating brown rice not pork fried rice. Used to be the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Hope it gets better
