I was visiting Champaign IL and was looking for dinner near the Virginia theater in the downtown area. Peking Garden Restaurant had good reviews and I decided to try. The restaurant had a nice mom and pop feel and the staff were very nice and helpful. The food was amazing. I had the Szechuan wontons and hot and sour soup to start… Great flavors! My main was the Hunan beef and it was excellent. Highly recommend!!

The food taste was really good with the Chinese cuisine. Tried the Crab Rangoon as the appetizer. Seafood Happy Family, Lamb with Islamic Seasoning, Hot Braised Shrimp, Chongqing Spicy Chicken and a fish item. All tasted good. The Islamic seasoning was very good. I liked the hot braised shrimp and fish wish szechuan sauce the most. The spicy chicken tasted very good but very spicy too. The crab rangoon was average. Would recommend visiting.

I have been coming to this wonderful, entirely family run restaurant for years and they have a wide variety of traditional Chinese and Chinese American dishes. The service and food are fantastic and they are always willing to modify the dishes for dietary restrictions, spice level etc… my favorite Chinese restaurant in Champaign

We moved from Champaign and Urbana and honestly miss this place being a walk away. Staff are super friendly… they even gave us free pears one time which we still crack up about. Food is phenomenal. Best American-Chinese place in CU.

So my first time here I ordered and shrimp fried rice and when I got home it was a chicken fried rice. BUT IT WAS THE BEST CHICKEN FRIED RICE I HAVE EVER EATEN. So I went back and and got the shrimp fried rice and explained what happened. So my new order came out LOADED WITH SHRIMP FOR THE MISTAKE. But truthfully it was the greatest mistake that has ever happened. ⭐️5 is the food and 10⭐️ for the service
