Ive been a customer of Peking express and Mike the owner for more than 10 years, we sometimes order every week. They offer free delivery without having to jump through app hoops or pay fees which is nice too. Lastly, we are always amazed at how hot the food is when it arrives, I highly recommend Peking express.

The Spicy Noodle Peanut Pasta at Peking Express is the best! The combo of spicy and peanut flavors is perfect, and the noodles are always cooked just right. It’s hands down one of my favorite dishes ever. I highly recommend it!

I strongly recommend this place. The staff is very friendly and respectful. Their menu has many different options for a good price.

The food is fresh, flavorful, and tasty. Everything is great – sesame chicken, kung pao, lo mein, fried rice, etc. I love the Mongolian beef. It has a wonderful smoky flavor. My husband and I used to live in Nova but moved to NC. We had a craving that could only be satisfied by the real deal Peking Express. We drove four hours to get it!

Great takeaway spot that we have been going to for 25 years. Food quality, quantity, and price are good and the owner is very friendly. Call ahead and pick up. Shredded chicken szechuan style is my personal favorite.

Disappointing. Mushu pork tasted a bit foul; Like bad meat not sure it was really pork. Fried dumplings were thick and doughy, and only offered chicken. Egg drop soup tasted like scrambled eggs in water. However, the sesame chicken and the general tso chicken were good.

They should change the cooking oil more often, the food had a slight racid taste which is associated with old cooking oil.

First time ordering from this restaurant and I’m sad I didn’t find them before as it was so good. General sos was the best I’ve ever had, real pieces of chicken and not just breading and mystery meat inside. The sauce was SOO good and homemade. Lo mein was delicious as was the chicken and broccoli. I picked up but saw they have free delivery. Very nice and inside seemed very clean. 100% recommend to anyone looking for quick, delicious, real food.

One of the first things that my family does when we move into a new area is to find the local Chinese takeout place. You’ve got to have the restaurant that you call in a pinch and know that you’re going to get a lot of food for a pretty reasonable price.

We’re on the hunt for the best takeout restaurant in Vienna and Peking Express was our first stop in our journey.

Overall, the service is the best that I’ve ever had at any takeout place…ever. The location is convenient but probably not somewhere that you’d go to eat. The food is decent, but probably nothing to write home about. The price is equitable to other takeout places in the area.

Let me break down the highlights a bit:

1. As I said, I really enjoyed the service at Peking Express. The guy running the store when I went was very kind, thoughtful and easy to work with. More than that, he had a few regulars in the store who he knew by name and was chatting with. That was cool to me and a good reminder that unlike P.F. Changs, this place truly is local and a part of the community.

2. The food was decent. You come to expect a certain level of quality when it comes to takeout food and Peking Express definitely doesn’t surprise. They offer standard Chinese fair and it tastes basically like the food you’d get at most other takeout places. For that reason, it doesn’t really stand out to me. I wasn’t repulsed, certainly, but I wasn’t blown away either. It was just fine.

3. Price is a tough one for me because I’m notoriously frugal when it comes to spending. You typically expect takeout places to be on the cheaper end, but I was pretty surprised when I discovered that each meal costed over $11. I was so surprised that I started looking at other places to see if that was comparable or over-priced and, I admit, most other takeout places charge about the same (give or take a few cents). Maybe Chinese is just a little more expensive these days. All that said, you do get a decent amount of food for that price. We had leftovers which is, I believe, a must for any takeout place.

For me, the combination of price and food ranks this as about average for me in the takeout world. We’d come back here in a pinch, but we’ll probably be on the lookout for some additional options in the area to see if we can find a place to land.

Has always been great food at a fair price. Never had an error with a delivery until our most recent order. Mistakes happen. What matters is how the rare mistake is resolved. The driver was back with the correction timely enough that our meal wasn’t interrupted – along with some free egg rolls thrown in for good measure. You just don’t see this kind of service these days anymore – and, it ‘s how to earn 5 stars even when an error had been made.
