I love Chinese food but this place was interesting.
I’ve never had egg drop soup that was clear/opaque with chicken in it… It tasted like overthick chicken soup that had some egg whites floating in it.
There was literally NO crab in the crab rangoon, just cream cheese?
Portions were huge, but just didn’t look appetizing. Fried rice was mushy and looked old. The chicken tasted alright but the sauce was off.
Husband was very unimpressed with food and overall ambiance.
Staff was nice, but with only one waitress, there was quite a wait between seating/beverages (water and ginseng cooler)/lunch arriving. We finally just got up and paid at the counter.

We truly enjoyed our first visit. I have been wanting to eat here since I was a child, but never had the opportunity. My husband and I recently moved to a Janesville and decided to go. We had the dinner for two and it was delicious and a great way to try new things. There were two choices and we chose the higher priced one for $40 total. Tons of variety on the appetizer plate, delicious sizzling rice soup, a generous portion of Mongolian beef, and perfectly fried sweet-and-sour shrimp. Our meal was fresh and the beef was tender. We loved that they used fresh vegetables in our dishes. We also enjoyed that the servers knew the customers, it was nice to see that they had an investment in the patrons. We will be back.

First time dining here upon the suggestion of a friend and wow it was amazing! Egg rolls are to die for, General Tsos had a nice kick but not too spicy and fried rice was amazing as well. Christine was a wonderful waitress will be back for sure!

Wow why was this my first time! I have lived in the area my whole life and yesterday was my first experience. The food was delicious, fresh and full of authentic flavor!
Kayla was out waitress she was friendly. We watched her set up the patrons, serve, and clean her tables. She answered all out funny questions without hesitation! The margarita was better than any Mexican restaurant I have been too! Thank you for a great experience.

I have been eating Chinese food since I was a kid. All over the midwest. This Peking place has the absolute worst food I have ever even had. I spent $56 and not a single person in my family could even stomach 2 bites of their food. It was horrendous. Like a frozen bag of rice n vegetables with some seasoning thrown on it. All slimy and mushy and smelled weird. Absolutely disgusting

We started with an Egg Roll, it was incredible. We also had the Sweet and Sour Chicken and General Chicken (hot) The flavors were absolutely amazing, and fresh. We visit the area often, and we have found our new favorite spot to eat.

The staff were very friendly, but the food tasted like it had been sitting for a long time and was overall not good. The sauce even was hardened and a jelly like consistency. Rice had a very off taste and was burnt and bland. None of us finished our food or ate even half of it. Very dissapointed because of all the good reviews :/

Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. Egg drop soup was amazing. Not the normal that’s for sure! Egg rolls were huge and all the food tasted great!

First time customer on a Saturday night. Pick up process easy, on time, and cashier very friendly and professional. Restaurant was half full. Food fresh and hot, packaged well. Mongolian beef was okay with lots of green onions and not white onions which was impressive. Menu said fried rice noodles, which are common with Mongolian Beef, but order came with dry cantonese noodles which was a huge disappointment. Garlic chicken was tasty and made with dark meat chicken which my family prefers; a big plus. Cashew pork was not good. Pork chunks were large and very tough, almost inedible, and gravy was tasteless. Rice was in a large container and more than enough for the three entrees.
Also ordered Crab Rangoon as an appetizer. Well cooked and crispy, large size, but flavor was off; tangy and no sign of anything but cream cheese in the filling. Our family is easy to please with Rangoon and none of the 4 of us cared for it.
$48 for 3 entrees and an appetizer, affordable. Fast friendly service. Hot food. I give the taste a 3, the rest a 4 to 5. Will we go back? Not sure. Will have to try other area asian restaurants to compare.

My absolute favorite Chinese restaurant that I’ve been too, and I eat Chinese all over while traveling. Peking slices steak is great, love the egg drop or sizzling rice soup, and the best egg rolls I’ve had. Still the best. Large lunch portions with a soup for $11. Food comes out quick and hot. Much better than the small fast food chinese spots.
