Love local businesses and I LOVE Chinese food… sadly this visit was underwhelming and disappointing. Spending years in and around Boston as a youth I experienced a lot of great Chinese American food. I have found some good Chinese food in and around Lebanon. My disappointment with Peking was:
Small cramped serving area shoved in a corner which created a very long slow line. Minimal food choices and flavorless or not the right flavors.
Fried rice was just flavorless white sticky rice, meats were covered in Tempura batter (Japanese).
Meats in vegetables were missing correct seasonings. I missed the sense of soy or oyster sauce in any/all dishes that should have it.
Crab Rangoon filling was liquidy and sweet, missing any fake crab meat.
Seasoned potatoes were a form of poutine, fried potatoes in gravy (Canadian)
Fried chicken wings were flavorless.
On a positive note, my son enjoyed the lo-mein. I passed on it after seeing pork and shrimp in it.
We came to the buffet to experience their food for possible future to go orders. We found their online menu missing a lot of items and just weren’t sure, so in we came.
I can now say we won’t be ordering anything in the future.

I got a food delivery, General Chicken, With rice very very low quality they send the smallest rice container. You can imagine I feel like I wanna cry right now very low quality very small portion for the price you pay. And then don’t read instructions. I said no onions and they doubled the onions. Wow what a waste of money disgusting.

I travel for work and just had a hankering for chinese food. Was in another store doing some shopping and asked the clerk. They recommended this place. Really? Glad they did food was excellent. That’s Chinese food have had in a while. They were very friendly and seemed like they really wanted to do a good job. And that they appreciate
The business. You all did an outstanding job, and thanks again.

I have childhood memories of comforting Chinese restaurants from the 80’s that I’ve only sporadically been able to re-live since.
With Peking Chinese in Lebanon, those happy memories come flooding back. The ingredients are always fresh, the portions plentiful, and the prices very affordable. This is not fancy by any stretch, but it has been consistent and always hits the spot.
Yesterday, we got the “Family Dinner A” for 2: soups, egg rolls, Crab Rangoon, fried rice, Almond Chicken, and Sweet & Sour Pork at $13.50/pp. We stuffed ourselves at the restaurant and have plenty leftovers for lunch today.

This was the worst Chinese food me and my boyfriend have ever had. He had the general chicken (general tsos) and it was the worst flavor and chicken I’ve ever tasted and he agreed. I got the chicken and broccoli and it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t good either. It just isn’t normal Chinese food. The fried rice isn’t typical fried rice either and also didn’t have good flavor. I’m not sure how this has so many good reviews but this definitely wasn’t worth it. He also got an egg roll and didn’t like it. Our meal was $50 and this place is NOT worth $50 for 2 meals. Won’t be a returning customer.

BEST CHINESE IN NASHVILLE. I come all the way from nashville to eat here. They have the best crab rangoons ive ever tried and if you like to eat, the portions are HUGE. The staff is amazing and attentive everytime i sit down. Let me reiterate that the crab rangoons are on another level.

The restaurant was nice. The environment was quaint. The place was clean and kept up. Service was great. Both quick and attentive to servicing both food and drink. We came with a small group and tried 5-7 different entrees with sides ordered. Honestly the best crab wontons we’ve ever had. Both chickens and beef dishes were very tasty and portions are very large. Everyone had leftovers to take. We would gladly eat here again!!

The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is great, the experience is wonderful. But the food…..it lacks flavor. Every dish seems very bland. This is my third experience here and the food has not improved; honestly the food has gone further downhill. I want so bad to want to go here but the food really does not make this restaurant whole.

They gave me the wrong order. I ordered orange chicken, wonton soup, and chicken broccoli and the total came out to ~$30. However, when I got home I saw that what I got handed to me was two chicken fried rice worth around $25. The orders of me and the customer behind me seem to have been swapped as she had a bigger bag. The understand that I should have checked the receipt on the bag but still very disappointing experience. The food was okay.

Horrible, Soggy items that are supposedly deep fried, flavorless noodles and rice and if that wasn’t enough fall 4 fortune cookies were stale. Not sure how this place has been around since the 80’s. They should know better.
