Wonderful service and staff. Restrooms are immaculate and always have hand towels and tissue paper. The buffet is always full and clean, with no food spills on the bar or floor. This restaurant has become a family staple on Sundays after church. We love the Buffet bar and also enjoy the Hibachi on Fridays and Saturdays. This is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.

I don’t even live in the area anymore, but I have to say we were blessed with Peking. In a location with very few options, here is a place that is genuinely great and affordable. The amount of times I’ve been in here for sit in dinners and quick takeout carriers is obscene. The food is always fresh and the people are always nice. I have a ton of fond memories here.
Place is clean and decor is beautiful and well kept.

Very disappointed in this restaurant. First of all, i’ve never in my life heard of a chinese restaurant Not serving roast pork egg foo yung, that is just unheard of. They don’t serve many chinese food regulars that most chinese restaurants serve. Second of all, on the buffet, they used to have delicious fried chicken wings. They still have the same delicious recipe But like everyone else, they have gotten cheap And now, instead of chicken wings, all you get are drumsticks regular drumsticks. Not drumettes. I don’t like dark meat That’s why I like chicken wings because they are white meat and they taste better But drumsticks are cheaper for the restaurant So they save a few pennies, and the customer loses out. I also separately ordered shrimp lomaine and ordered it with extra shrimp. Not only was the shrimp like rubber, but the lomaine noodles were chewy. They were more like linguine than actual chinese Noodles, there were also absolutely no vegetables at all.Not even seaweed, just noodles and shrimp And that was it. It had almost no flavor and I didn’t even have any Soy sauce Because they were too cheap to throw a couple of soy sauce packs in my bag. I spent almost thirty dollars was not even given one Fortune cookie in my bag was not given any duck sauce or soy sauce packets, Absolutely nothing. I am so sorry This is the only chinese restaurant nearby Because they care more about saving a few dollars than providing the good food and service customers deserve and used to get. I will not be eating from this restaurant again.
They should be ashamed of themselves.

Friendly, family-owned restaurant with plenty of options on three lanes of food bars; a local favorite for a reason.

Update: Hope you like Fox News because that’s what be what on television when you’re eating.
Past review: Haven’t had Chinese Food in 3 weeks since my hospital visits were on Mondays when the other Chinese Restaurant was closed those days. Finally went to one on a day I didn’t have any appointments and one that was open.

Give credit when credit is due. I have been to Chinese restaurants from Boston MA. To Orlando FL. Give or take at least 50-60 different restaurants in the last several years. This restaurant is in the top 5 of my favorite Chinese Restaurants. I definitely wasn’t expecting the quality of food from this remote place in super southern VA. My food was to -go, but If you ever get the chance to dine-in, take a moment to look around to the attention to detail in this restaurant. It’s obvious to me this is a proud owner. I’m not sure how this restaurant made it to this remote spot, but the locals are lucky to have a place like this. The price is no contest to 90% of other similar restaurants. Prices are amazing for the quality of food.
Peking Chinese Restaurant thank you!

Seemed clean and pleasant. Patrons were spaced. Required masks and gloves at the buffet. My take out order was prepared quickly and was complete, packed in sturdy reusable take-out containers. I asked for sauce packets and they gave me plenty which is always nice. Had kung pao veggies and the tofu with mushrooms plus veggie spring rolls. Both dishes were pretty tasty and the veggies were crisp and fresh. Came with slightly fried rice instead of steamed which seemed unusual but was fine. Will definitely get takeout again.

This is the best restaurant in southern VA in my opinion. We are from the DC area and all the Chinese restaurants in this area are just an awkward version of bad Chinese food. Most of them don’t have enough foot traffic to keep fresh ingredients, but not the Peking Chinese restaurant. All the food is always fresh. Their crab Rangoon/ wontons are on point. The hot and sour soup was exactly how it was supposed to taste. The sweet tea, chicken and onions, and strawberry cake were all delicious. They have three whole buffet bars full of food.
I also want to say our server was extremely nice and did a very good job during the church rush. She was thoughtful and paid attention to drinks and made sure we didn’t want anything off the menu after we got our food from the bar.
The entire restaurant is very clean and fresh. The tables were clean, the floors were clean, bathroom was clean and stocked.

Great food and calm environment! They have multiple quality food options in their buffet. Owner is very friendly and takes pride in his business which is nice to see! They also offer some non-Chinese food options as well. Definitely recommend!!
