Returning after 30 years, I was amazed to find the same owners at Peking Chef. While the world outside has transformed, the heart of this place hasn’t changed. They still serve food made with integrity and warmth.

It’s especially commendable in today’s economy. Despite rampant inflation, they haven’t compromised on what matters: fresh, high-quality ingredients (and no MSG!), generous portions, and incredibly fair prices. The food is as delicious as I remember.

My visit was a perfect blend of nostalgia and a truly great meal. Thank you for the consistency and excellence.

This is a great place to eat! Great food, lots of choices, good prices, and friendly people. I have been ordering from Peking Chef for many years. They are always friendly and courteous. The food is fresh and taste terrific. On my most recent visit, I ordered Singapore Rice Noodles, Shrimp Eggrolls, and Steamed Dumplings. I highly recommend checking this place out. I recently moved out of the nearby area and I still visit Peking Chef. I enjoy the food that much.

From the moment I stepped into Peking Chef, the energy felt right. The woman at the front? Absolute gem. Warm smile, calm spirit, and the type of hospitality you don’t see every day. She made me feel welcome like I was walking into family, not just a restaurant.

The service? Fast, friendly, and on point. No rush, no attitude — just good people doing good business.

Now let’s talk about this food. Top-tier. Seasoned just right, cooked fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell they care about quality — this ain’t no cut-corners kitchen. Everything I tasted was fire, and the portions were generous too.

You want great food, respectful service, and a peaceful vibe? This is the spot.

“Support the real. Because real always serves better.”

I have a mixed review about this place. Went out with a group to celebrate last night. It was everyone’s first time at this establishment. The decor was OK but it was freezing in the restaurant. Even the server had a winter coat on. The initial approach from the server was very unpleasant. I am not sure what the problem was and was confused why she was being very abrupt and unfriendly since most of the review that I read on here stated they experienced a great service. It was a big and diverse crowd so I can understand the pressure but a few people including myself had asked her about some of the menu items to which she completely ignored and rush everyone to order their food (Yes, she was yelling) . Apart from our group, there was only three other people in one other table beside ours at the restaurant. The food was OK but not great. I was disappointed at the service and obviously won’t be returning. I am only giving them three stars because the food was OK and the shrimp on my dish were humongous.

My wife loves the beef chow foon. The noodles are always smooth, soft, and savory and the beef used is so tender that it practically melts in your mouth. We highly recommend trying them! Just be sure to eat them fresh as that’s when they taste the best!

Portions are small. The General Tsu chicken was bland and made in a non-traditional way. The fried rice was oily mild flavor.
Welcome to the era of the lunch size is now the dinner size but the same cost.

It’s very good food! We got the salt and pepper shrimp with scallops dish! The texture and taste was amazing and not like other restaurants I’ve been to that have this dish.

The picture will do the talking. Left bowl is wonton soup made properly. Right bowl of watery unseasoned, overcooked wontons that came from this restaurant. They even tried to defend this like wonton soup in any situation would be served with just unseasoned vegetable broth and wontons minus ANY FILLING. Even my hospital food was better than this. I couldn’t even get a flick of salt omgggg. This is insane for $6. I do not recommend based on the fact one of the simplest dishes is trash.

I love this restaurant and order from it often. The space is really nice, usually quiet, and the service is excellent. The various options we’ve tried are all fantastic (my favorite is the mu shu pork). They also have really good sushi; I like it better than the sushi offered at the next-door Japanese/Hibachi restaurant. Highly recommend this place!
