It was fast… but that’s about the only positive note. The lo mien, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup and hot and sour soup were very bland. The general tso chicken was fine… but nothing special. It was ready very quickly though

Sushi was warm. Good kind of tasteless. Hot and sour soup. good. Beef with mixed vegetables was ok. Not the best not the worst. Staff ok. Sushi is expensive. Prices especially for sushi have gone up significantly.

I ate the sesame chicken here, as well as a handful of foods like the Dragon & Phoenix and House Special Soup, but that’s not what this review is about. I made it a goal half a year ago to eat every item on the sushi menu, and now I have. I ate the special rolls, the sushi pieces, the hand rolls, and the entrees, going down the lists number by number.
Of the special rolls, the Volcano Roll was my favorite, even though it wasn’t very spicy. Then again, I eat chunks of wasabi whole, so maybe my half-brother is right and I’m too dead inside to judge something as spicy.
Of the hand rolls, the Cream Cheese Roll was my favorite. I’d like to say it was something complex, but no, it was that. Simple good.
The entrees are from the other list, so there’s not much else to say other than don’t attempt to eat Sushi & Sashimi for Two by yourself. It is definitely for two, no matter what you think your appetite is.
Two warnings:
If you get the Spider Roll, don’t get a second warm roll with it! The lettuce will wilt and it won’t taste as good. Even ask for it without lettuce if you must, since they are willing to customize.
They have this sushi pizza thing that’s not on written on the menu, similar to what Kobe Sushi up in Madison has, and it is significantly worse. Do not get it. There is nothing on the menu that I can say “don’t get it” for other than this.
Note: It’s strange what hand rolls are maki (seaweed on the outside) and what rolls are uramaki (rice on the outside). The salmon roll (a good one, runner up to the cream cheese roll) is maki, but the spicy salmon roll is uramaki. There’s no apparent rhyme nor reason. For this reason, I tried asking for a custom roll of my favorite components: cream cheese, tuna, avocado, “and make it maki instead of uramaki.” They were willing to make it! Avocado got misheard as salmon, but it was still delicious. The service is polite at Peking Restaurant.

The food is amazing….they have delicious dishes and appetizers..but seriously the people that run this place are amazing and kind and good and I think the food is so good because they cook with passions and love. The sushi is also incredible and I totally recommend the House Roll..even if you do not like sushi normally you gotta try it because it is deep fried and cooked plated gorgeous even for take out…I mean these folks are amazing ❤❤❤

My family has eaten here since I was in the 3rd grade and ever since I turned 16 I’ve eaten here on a weekly basis. My favorite restaurant in Cullman!

Toxic irredeemable garbage. My mother was served mystery meat, and nothing tasted like it supposed to. We have both been detoxing with water and vegetables since we ate there. Disgusting, but at least the staff was polite when they took our money and served us the poison. Save yourselves and avoid it like the plague.

Fast Service, Delicious Food, Great prices. We call in large orders all the time and it’s ready when we get there (@10-15 minutes). November 2020, take out and call in only. Fast and friendly service.
