Not sure if the oil needs changing or what but my honey seared chicken is a few shades browner than the advertised golden color of the honey seared chicken and there is definitely a burnt nuance going on with the mostly breading chicken pieces.
All that fresh oil chilling and my honey seared chicken still gets called orange chicken by the google photo ai. Hmm.

This food was disgusting. I ordered teriyaki chicken with sauce on side and also honey seared chicken kids meal. Every other time I ordered the teriyaki chicken it came without the vegetables and so I assumed this time it would also since I couldn’t find the option to remove anything. Anyway got home and opened up food and it doesn’t look appetizing. I also noticed that the kids meal had more food in it and is half the price.
I called the store and spoke with an employee and GM. That was worthless. I’m never ordering from this place again.

They had several gluten free options and gluten free soy sauce packets. (Hard to find). I had gf chicken and broccoli with gf fried rice. The chicken was little tough but fried rice was very good and very flavorful especially for gluten free.

The staff was amazing , and really helped us choose the best meals. Food was okay – but it was a late night food run and was the best we could get. Great big eating hall.

I’ve always gone to the Fast China Bear ( you know the one) I’m a ride share driver, and a client works at a different location, and really got me curious. I mean. Better than P.E.? That’s a bold statement for a chain restaurant. My oldest son and I were out yesterday, and I suggested we try it. We found this location and ordered the family platter… they didn’t mention it was for a family of 6!
The service was good, but the proof in in the Mongolian beef. This meat was thick (by stir fry standards) tender, and I literally moaned at the first bite. Oh! And they let us eat there, with social distancing of course.
The only problem I have is that I can never be happy at PE now.
Their price point is a bit higher than the other place, but the portions and quality make it more than worth it.

I’ve been a long time Pei Wei customer; however, after tonight and other poor experiences I’m sad to say that I’m done dining at Pei Wei. This evening, when I walked into the Grayhawk location I first noticed that half of the tables on the patio were filled with dirty dishes (pictured below). After I placed my order I sat and watched my food die in the kitchen window for seven minutes before it was finally noticed and ran to my table. As expected, my crab wantons were soggy and my Korean spicy was room temperature. There was no reason for this quality of service since the restaurant was not busy at that time. I saw no sign of a manager and the employees had no direction. Over the past few years I’ve notice Pei Wei degrade and I’ve come to expect a bad dining experience. Do not waste your money here, there are plenty of restaurants I’d rather spend my money.

I ordered a take-out dinner. When I got there they apologized and said that they were out of that particular item. I explained that I just had a tooth pulled and I needed cooked vegetables. They assured me all the vegetables in my second choice were cooked. They had the order done in less than 5 minutes. When I started eating, I realized all of the vegetables were not even half cooked. The chicken was soft but the meal was flavorless. I had to throw it away. I’m very disappointed as we frequent this location and we’ve never had an issue.

We decided to eat here because last time I ate at a Pei Wei I had a great experience and I thought the food was excellent and a very good value. I hate to say that the food left us extremely disappointed. The only redeeming item was the fried rice. My steak and my son’s chicken were overcooked, dry and very tough. The sauce was very sweet and salty. My son commented that Panda Express is much better.

Dine in this evening, kung pao chicken on fried rice, my wife had the coconut curry chicken. Food was excellent. The real highlight of our visit was the outstanding customer service by the manager we dealt with. He was all over it from ordering to delivering the food to the table to opening the door for us when we were leaving. Great old fashioned customer service made our evening!!!
