Been to Peg’s several times and always enjoy the food and atmosphere. However, you must go for the beer. One of the best microbreweries operates out of the back of the restaurant and it is worth sitting outside in the heat to taste these wonderful brews. The service is good but not always fast (it can get very busy there…) and the setting is as laid back as it gets in Downtown small town Gulfport. Overall, very enjoyable. Be sure to get a flight of their brews and try them all!

Had lunch here after Gulfport’s Pink Flamingo House Tour. Unfortunately, the food was less than appetizing. I had a Chicken Quesadilla and the chicken was beyond dry. They have really good craft beers but are way overpriced on those and the food. I was charged $10 for the quesadilla which was not worth more than maybe $7.

This place is hit or miss. The first time we visited Peg helped us and we had a lovely experience. The second, another person served us and she acted as if we were an inconvenience to her. Beer is OK and food is OK… nothing spectacular.
