I’ve recently moved back to the neighborhood and I’ve been back to Peggy’s about 5 times in the last month! The food is amazing and definitely worth it. The service is even more amazing with the staff being the friendliest and not making you feel rushed. I love the atmosphere because I’m able to chill eat and even hang out a lil in the restaurant relaxing on my own. I would definitely recommend Peggy’s to those who love good food and their own vibe.

We stopped here because the restaurant we wanted to eat at wasn’t open. We saw the reviews for Peggy’s and decided to try it. We both had the chicken fried chicken, carrots, pinto beans, and potato salad. They were great. The restaurant is very clean and the service was great. Don’t let the exterior fool you. This is an A1 restaurant.

I’ve been coming to Peggy’s country cafe for decades . I’ve eaten almost everything on the menu but not all at once I’ve never had anything I didn’t like or that wasn’t cooked good food always comes out hot and very little wait unless it’s peak breakfast time but still not a long wait. Coffee always hot and refilled regularly. Chicken fried chicken is real good the veggies are good biscuits and gravy are best add side of bacon or get them SOS STYLE .The new owners are very nice and friendly already on first name basis with them . New menu items also a hit
I’d recommend eating here to anyone good old fashioned country style meals if you leave hungry it’s your own fault for not finishing your plate . The pies are great also . ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cant believe im just finding out about this place. Came for some breakfast. Wasnt sure what to expect but the reviews looked good. Well the reviews held up, I enjoyed the fluffy short stack pancakes with the eggs & hasbrowns w/ biscuits and gravy. No bad after taste no bad experience. Ill definitely be coming back!

Our family has been coming here for years and has always been our go to spot for a quick bite of comfort food, so we were eager to see how things would be under the new ownership. While we appreciate the refreshed appearance inside and the newly introduced meals on the menu, I did notice a few areas that could use improvements.
Our waiter seemed somewhat inconvenienced by our requests, which made the experience less pleasant than usual. Additionally, the overall pace of service was slower than expected.
I understand that transitions in management can take time, and I believe the new team has the potential to bring this restaurant back to its former standard of excellence. With more focus on attentive, courteous service and consistent quality, it can easily regain the warm and enjoyable dining experience many of us have always valued.

It’s hole in the wall kinda place but the food is delicious. I had the cheeseburger with fries, my bf had the chicken fried chicken with potatoes, and we had Peggy’s appetizer. The sweet tea was perfect. They do let you smoke in the front area but they have a small non-smoking area. They have some slot machines for fun. It’s a small place but worth the trip.
