The long line moves very fast. We were there on a Saturday, probably their busiest day for lunch. The line was put the door but totally worth it. We waited less than 30 minutes. The food was incredible and affordable! Definitely worth the stop and don’t forget to take a picture with the mural!

Food was great. I got a half rack of ribs with green beans and pork and beans. My wife had the half chicken. It came with the green beans and the fries. The green beans had a smokey hot kick. The fries were seasoned with a similar flavor to the rub. The ribs were tender and very well seasoned. Bothe the chicken and ribs were done well. I also got the pork rinds. They are made fresh and seasoned! They were delicious!! I can certainly see why this place won the Pit Boss.

Pretty good. Having walked past it many times but mostly not eating meat for many years, I never had a chance to stop in until a friend was looking for BBQ in the area. We arrived around 7:45 and didn’t have to wait very long to order at the counter. Food came out fast – service not overly friendly but efficient. I cheated and ordered the pulled pork, a dish I used to eat often (spending lot of time in eastern NC, mostly with vinegar-based sauce) and felt I should sample on a visit to Nashville even though I have followed a mostly-veg diet for years. The portion of pork is quite small for this dish – it came in a half-full paper tray with no bread and 2 sides. I ordered coleslaw and potato salad. Both sides were very good: coleslaw was not overly mayo-focused and tasted very fresh, potato salad was seasoned nicely but heavy on the mayo. I used BBQ sauce on everything and it was good; in fact, it was necessary for the pulled pork which wasn’t super flavorful and actually pretty dry with the exception of some moist pieces of fat. There are probably better BBQ options in Nashville so I was a bit disappointed to have blown my once-in-3-years pulled pork experience here, but it was worth the stop nonetheless. The atmosphere is typical BBQ with counter ordering and full bar. Plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating was available when we went. Folks seemed to be enjoying the dry-rubbed ribs and chicken. Banana pudding looked good and I didn’t try it but I’ll stop by another time for the pudding and some sides instead, for sure.

Wings, pulled pork sandwich, and ribs were great! Sides mac&cheese (taste like nacho cheese), green beans, and baked beans no so much. Food came out fast and hot – would definitely return (I would probably get the fries instead next time

I had high hopes for this place. It sadly didn’t live up to the hype from other reviews. The location has minimal parking, but there is a public parking garage a block or so up the street. Customer service was average. The food was bland on all ends. The fries had no seasoning, the potato salad was bland, and the pork was dry and salty. The bbq sauce helped to make ir less dry, but barely. I likely would not return, and if I did I’d try something entirely different.

The saltines with cream cheese and hot pepper jelly are really good. The ribs are cooked perfectly. The potato salad is some of the best I’ve had. The only negative thing was that the coleslaw was bland and dry. But everything else was delicious.

The blend of Southern BBQ flavors was delightful! The chicken was flawlessly cooked to the point of falling off the bone, while the ribs were outstanding, especially when paired with their mild sauce. The sides were also commendable, with the Mac and cheese standing out as my favorite.

Woooooow! This place is delicious. It was so good I even bought the rub to give away to all my family has Christmas stocking stuffers and I bought some for myself and the day I ran out of it I was super sad and not the chef I was with it. It gave me the most compliments wheb we did at home cook outs. Id say if you go pick up extra for yourself so you never run out!!! Worth the wait!!!
