I was coming up north on the freeway after dropping off my daughter at her cousin’s house in Oceanside and I got a little hungry so I took the off-ramp and it opened up right to this place. It’s called Pedro’s tacos. They’re claim. The fame is world’s best taco since 1986. I have underwear older than that. I ordered a bean and cheese with rice burrito. Very low priced. It’s a little spectacle on the size but it was actually decent and I had the potato taco and I like that very much. So next time you’re in this part of town, pick up your beers at the 7-Eleven across the street. Come over to Pedro’s and get a taco. You’ll love it! Get yourself an orange bang while you’re here too. Was working in the area when I noticed this spot. I like to try out new taco places wherever I’m working. Got a fish taco and asada burrito. The taste was good, just really small portions for the price. Also, you’d think they’d have authentic hot sauce but it’s packaged sauce like going to del taco.

Delicious food! The whole family enjoyed their food and the laid back atmosphere. There is only outside seating at picnic tables, but the weather is usually wonderful to enjoy that seating. A favorite from the menu is the bean and cheese burrito and carne tacos.

Today I had the worst experience of my life. The man who served me was very rude when taking my order. I ordered three tacos, and when I saw my receipt, it looked like I paid for six. The meat tasted awful, it wasn’t cooked properly, and they don’t even have a bathroom.

Ordered a Carne Asada burrito and it was so small for about $12 and the meat was not carne asada. Tasted more like a stew and was made in a crockpot. Definitely nothing close to authentic Mexican food.
Also ordered a carne asada taco and same meat used and the tortilla for their taco tasted like they just microwaved it. Could have warmed it up on a skillet.
Customer service was the only good part of this visit.

I’ve been coming to this place for 20 years and they never disappoint. I always get the carne asada burrito and it is the best I’ve had anywhere. The meat is always super juicy and the tortilla is soft. I highly recommend Pedro’s Tacos to anyone looking for elite Mexican food!

A chicken California burrito was $14.99 and exceptionally small! The chicken was good however and I chose the fried chicken option over the grilled chicken. Aside from the disappointing size, the salsa selection was atypical for California and included Heinz brand packets and another prepackaged salsa that looked like it was from Del Taco. Size and salsas are seen in the pics. Had been here before, but never again.

We stopped here on our way from LA to San Diego. My friend kept telling me to get it since we pass by so often so we finally went for it. I can’t believe we waited so long! Amazing! We got a fish taco and a potato. Honestly I think the potato is better but both were fantastic. And for a good price!

Staff got our order completely wrong(only ordered 2 carne asada burritos). Should have been an easy fix but they were rude and blamed us for thier mistake. Also burritos were very small for $12. And wasn’t even carne asada, don’t waste your time, go somewhere else
