What really stood out was how dependable everything felt. The staff were polite and attentive, and even during a busy evening things ran smoothly. Food and service came without fuss, and the pace felt just right — no awkward waiting, no feeling like you’re being hurried.
For what you pay, Pedro’s Taco Shack feels like a good bet. You don’t leave expecting gourmet polish, but you do leave with a solid, satisfying meal. It’s the kind of place I’d go to when I want something straightforward, filling, and easy.
If I’m honest — I wouldn’t choose it for a fancy night out or a romantic dinner. But for casual get‑togethers, satisfying comfort food, or a laid‑back meal with friends, Pedro’s hits the mark. I’d definitely go back.
Came here and ordered the Parrillada from the menu. I posted the picture so you can see what I see. When ordering I said no lettuce and sour cream, waiter said ok. Order came out looking great, till I came to the chicken. The chicken was a little too dry for my taste, could’nt tell my waiter because I had to get up twice for napkins and a salsa that I requested for the waiter to bring out, he thought I wanted it with my meal, but I asked for it when I order for it now. The final straw was he just asked me for how many boxes, not if I was ok. I asked the hostess for a menu and asked for the manager. The manager came and I told him about my concerns. The chicken he told me that no one else complained about the chicken being dry. I did not know that we were all eating from the same plate. I said I’m talking about my plate not everyone else’s plate, no sorry, no I can bring out another, nothing. Then I asked him about not getting the pico and guacamole, he said it does not come with the item I ordered. I said I ordered from the fajita section of the menu, he said it’s not a fajita. So he then goes and say I says what it comes with, I said all of them does. He said it does not say it comes with those sides, so with his logic the big Texas fajitas come with protein only? Like what is he talking about. He was very rude and dismissive. With today’s economy where we have to be more conservative with our money and where it goes, I will definitely not go here ever again, they truly don’t respect me as a customer. So I urge anyone and everyone to not come here and spend it at Frida’s which is a couple of miles down the street. They will definitely treat you with respect and have way better quality of food there.
Most recently, we picked up a fajita bar catering order, and everything was hot, perfectly prepared, and ready to go when we arrived. The team even went above and beyond to help us load it up, which we truly appreciated. Their service is top-notch, and the flavor speaks for itself!
Highly recommend Pedro’s for any event—big or small. You’ll be glad you did!
PS – The chunky guacamole is amazing!!
The enchiladas were really good with authentic flavorful enchilada sauce. I ordered beef chicken and cheese. The beef was very flavorful but the chicken was plain but moist. The beef chimichanga was also flavorful and delicious. The whole meal was delicious. The place is clean, nicely decorated, and the music was not too loud. We had a wonderful dining experience.
a wonderfully extensive menu and the service is stellar.
