I stopped in at Pedro’s the second I saw the open sign was on, I’ve been super excited to try it ever since seeing they were opening a location here. The second I walked in I was greeted by two very nice younger employees who talked with me about the menu, the restaurant, and helped make suggestions. It made it a very nice experience as someone who was overwhelmed by the menu and wanted to try absolutely everything, it all looks sooo good! I ended up getting a horchata and a breakfast empanada and both were absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to stop in and try more of the menu! I also absolutely love what they’ve done to the place the decor and seating is very cute and it was very clean.
Went back a second time and tried a chicken tamale, a side of guacamole, and a pork menestras. Everything was absolutely delicious again! So flavorful, the pork was extremely juicy and seasoned extremely well. The chicken tamale had a ton of flavor as well and the sauce it came with was extremely good. Highly recommend!

Beginning from the atmosphere down to the service that was barely present the entire experience was a disaster. I’ve been to Pedro’s other restaurant and food trucks but this new venue is off to a sincerely rough start. The service is nearly nonexistent and to top it off there’s no true bar, wine options or draft beer. It’s a cross between a quick service restaurant that fails miserably and a sit down venue… The “server” was only present when ordering beverages along with the dinner menu which apparently at 6:30 the kitchen was so backed up and we had to order immediately or our food could take over a hour to arrive to the table—yet the restaurant was half full. Our $14 guacamole arrived and presented itself as a full plate of plantain chips with a ketchup sized ramekin of barely any actual guacamole. Beyond this my corn bowl was filled with water and absolutely no flavor. The chicken was dry, flavorless and seemed like it was part of an entirely reheated dish. Quite a shame for a new venue in one of the most predominant markets to start of on such a low note. The number of tables needs to increase and the wall of single party booths has to additionally take a farewell. Couples are smashed next to each other and there is barely room to converse or enjoy your night less than 3 feet away on either side from a neighboring table. Far too much wrong here without a major financial investment to make this a true restaurant—forget the bar as there’s simply no room to have one. At best the entire experience felt like a low service bar with an incredibly dismal cuisine experience. All too bad unfortunately!

I wanted to love this place so much! but it was such a disappointment… their corn dish is canned corn (not elote at all!), no salsa as advertised… asked for extra cilantro and barely got any at all. ordered their chicken soup but it is like 2 spoonfuls of pure mush…

We’ve been here several times already and the food is phenomenal. Some portions are on the smaller side so order accordingly. Compostable cups and dishes are a thoughtful touch. So excited to have another restaurant in the neighborhood — wishing them all the best with this new location!

I’m already thinking about the next time I can come in and try something new! Today I got the arepa lunch special with the locro de papa soup. Also got the dulce de leche iced coffee – a real treat! My mouth was faster than my camera so no pictures of the food this time, but I’ll be back. So happy to have this place nearby!

First time at Pedro’s, definitely coming back. Ordered the Chicken, beans and rice, absolutely fantastic. The chicken was tender, and delicious. Tatiana, our waitress was great, she knew the menu and helped us order. Her suggestion was spot on. This is a 5 star establishment, very excited it’s not too far. Cannot wait to visit again!

I had two Empanadas, a horchata and elotes.

It was my very first time having empanadas, and I don’t think they’re for me. That’s why I gave four stars.

The elotes? OUT OF THIS WORLD. I got the small size, I should have ordered two of the big size because it was incredible. INCREDIBLE.

The horchata was amazing as well. I love horchata, and order it whenever I go that has it.

It was a little understated, which I like. Not overly sweet. Doesn’t have that “made in a flavor factory” under taste either. I would bet money it’s made in house.

I will absolutely be back, I want to try the whole menu.

And I saw that one star review, I think that fella was having a bad day. Because I didn’t experience any of what he spoke of.

In fact I think the atmosphere is lovely. They took the bones of a failing hot dog restaurant and made it feel like a place I want to be. The plants everywhere is especially lovely.

I can’t wait to come back and update my review.

I’m so excited about this amazing restaurant!! We love the food truck and other locations, and I’m so thrilled to have this location available too! The staff is so nice, and the food is incredible! I have been to Ecuador, and the food at Pedro’s took me back to wonderful food and travel memories.

A nicely renovated restaurant, with really delicious empanadas, and arepas! The soup was so good, too! Tatiana was very helpful in understanding the difference between the offerings. Happy to have Pedro’s in the neighborhood, we will definitely be back!
