I ride past this restaurant everyday. For some reason they always seem closed. We finally were able to try it after a lady in the bank next door said the Guacamole was good.
In fact, the guacamole was good. Could maybe use a little more lime and salt.
I have drove far and wide and traveled to many cities and states to eat Mexican food (which is my favorite food) so I know what’s good and REALLY good.
This place I would say for food is Mediocre. If you’re looking for a quick place to eat Mexican and not looking for something that will blow your mind and make you wanting to come back for more, this is the place.
The Atmosphere is pretty small, but it’s very clean inside and looks well taken care of.
I ordered the “Monster Burrito” it was pretty big! As for the flavor it was a little bit bland compared to a lot of the Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. My boyfriend got the Carnitas which we both said was a tad on the salty side, but mixed with the rice and beans was decent.
The service was Excellent!! Our waitress was super nice and knowledgeable.
If I really was asked if I’d come back… probably not. For their price you can get more quality Mexican for cheaper at the Mexican restaurant in Nashville.

Pedro’s Cocina Mexicana serves up some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in the town of PV so far! The dishes were flavorful and authentic, and everything was served surprisingly fast, which was a big plus. Whether you’re craving tacos, enchiladas, or fajitas, the food here won’t disappoint.
The only downside was the service. While it wasn’t terrible, it could have been a bit more attentive. The waiters and waitresses were polite but seemed a little distracted at times, which took away from the overall experience.
That said, I’m still giving it 4 stars because the food was spot on, and I’ll definitely be back for more!

Food is always top notch and ladies in the front are always so friendly. As gringos, my wife and I love the chicken bowls with extra jalapeno sauces… but we tried the pozole verde soup the other day and it was outstanding as well. So definitely planning to branch out and try some more authentic dishes from here in the future.

I own a company that works with local restaurants and have eaten at many throughout the city. By far one of the best value and service I have had. We were seated quickly and the food came out perfectly. I will be back and I definitely recommend to try.

The food was so good! I’m going to have to make this stop everytime I come through. I couldn’t decide on what I wanted so there are many things on the menu I still need to try. I ordered the red pozole. It was good but could’ve used some more flavor. The staff was super nice. I already know what I want next time!

The best Mexican restaurant in pleasant view by far. Authentic flavors and dishes. Super fresh ingredients and taste. The best salsa around. All the advantages of a small family business. Highly recommend the guacamole and carnitas.

Great place! Need a break from traveling, stop in!! Nice exit in general, gas, DG Market. I ate here mid-week, nice early afternoon and in/out in 30 minutes. They have a large screen TV playing Food Network. Just happen to be an episode of Beat Bobby Flay & he lost. lol.

As you walk in , you get a Cafeteria feel to the restaurant, not much room.
The menu was very basic, with a handful of items to choose from.
I had the Chicken Chimichanga meal which was absolutely delicious!
While my husband had the Taco Salad – which was very basic, not much to it. But the steak and flavors were there.
Chips and salsa standard – but the mild salsa was spicy.
Also tried the homemade bake goods (Tres leches cake) which was also delicious .

We got going early on this Sunday and found that “open” options were few. Thank goodness, otherwise we may not have tried Pedro’s Cocina. The food is fresh and the home made salsas have incredible flavor. Get the green salads – it has some kick, but it also has smoky undertones that are amazing. My husband got the classic burrito with Tinga chicken and I got the chicken chimichanga – both were served quickly and hot. This is a counter style restaurant rather than and sit and serve but, we were checked on multiple times to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Try it, you’ll love it!
