I tried out Peddle Pushers Cafe in Lanesboro, MN and had a wonderful time! Their fish tacos were great! My only suggestion would be to put the tortillas on the grill for a while.

Great little family run cafe, great food. We ate outdoors, which was a bit buggy at first, but service was fast and food was fantastic.

I had the chicken pot pie, loved it, my wife had the fish tacos, she loved them. The cheese curds were also quite good.

Prices very reasonable, it was about 6pm on a Saturday in late September and we were seated right away.

Food was better than I expected…. Flavorful and not tourist-bland. Poblano sauce was on point. Beef for the burgers was phenomenal. I don’t like being expected to tip in an environment where I have to seat myself, get my own water, get my kids crayons and paper, and go to the counter to order and pay my bill. Why do you even have a hostess? Just tell us to clean dishes and wipe the table.

Truffle fries had no truffle oil, just some sprinkled seasoning.

Two beers, two entrees, and an app….$60. Too expensive, but food came out promptly

Started my drive today from Minnesota to Florida and my first stop was Lanesboro MN. Found this cute little café called Pedal Pushers Cafe I’m sitting in the café looking at my car with my bike on the back this is a perfect place for lunch. I had the green bowl which is their specialty is smothered in black and chicken. It’s a delicious local place. Highly recommended.

Ate here twice in two days, once for lunch and once for dinner. Once indoors and once outdoors. Food was excellent and service speedy. We particularly liked the bowl meals, which were new to the menu since my last visit several years ago. We also appreciated the availability of a range of local craft beers.

Good was great. We had chicken and wild rice soup, cranberry walnut and blue cheese salad, and pork commercial (which is a open-faced pulled pork sandwich) that was very good. Salad was very fresh and generous blue cheese, just the way I like it.

We were very late on a Monday night, staff was friendly and made great food. I still do not understand having to go up to the counter to order even when we are almost the only people eating in an but it is ok, they have their process.

Highly recommend!

All in all, it was a totally wonderful stop on our day of bicycling on the nearby trails. The food was wonderful, the service wonderful, and the atmosphere perfect for cyclists stopping by for refreshment. I especially enjoyed my mango blond beer from a local brewery. I Highly recommend stopping by for a fine lunch.

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Crispy Brussels Sprouts were about the best I’ve ever tasted. So rare to see these done with this much crispness! Really takes away the bitterness. Only thing that would have taken these through the roof would have been a little bacon and a sprinkle of cotija cheese. Loved the balsamic glaze too. Fish sandwich was moist and flaky with a nice crunchy exterior. Partner’s Cajun Tilapia Tacos had great seasoning. Truffle Parmesan Fries were delicious with generous amount of toasted cheese. However, I would have wished for a bit more truffle flavor. Excellent job though and we will definitely return soon!

We highly recommend this hidden gem! The food and service were outstanding. We tried the Brussels sprouts, mango shrimp bowl, fish tacos, chicken strips, and fish & chips and every dish was fantastic. My mother-in-law said the fish was the best she’s ever had and the fries were freshly made. The mango shrimp bowl was especially delicious. It is difficult to find gluten free food with that much flavor. I’ll be dreaming about that dish for a long time! We hope to be back soon!

It was one of the very few restaurant options on a Sunday evening after their yearly Buffalo Bill Days celebrations. Loved the décor, the welcoming crew, the menu, and the delicious food. We ordered the Mango Shrimp Rice Bowl and the Spicy Pimento Burger. Both were quite good – compliments to the chef! I would definitely have the rice bowl again. We had to wait a while (40 minutes) from order time but they were quite busy in the kitchen due to an influx of diners before the café closed at 7:30 pm. Highly recommended!
