We came into the restaurant after hours, but Jorge still treated us like family and gave us a truly incredible meal and dessert. All the little details and sincere interactions he had with us won’t be soon forgotten. The rest of the staff were lovely and helpful as well. Must try location if you want quality service and top notch dining.

The food is super fresh and amazing. They are really accommodating with gluten free and dairy free options too. Plus, they are really family friendly too. The service was top notch. They even cleaned the high chair for our baby. Jorge and Carlos were great! Thank you!

Jorge and his staff go above and beyond to ensure the best service and food. The food is very fresh and tasty. They have Mariachi’s on Friday evening, which is great. I highly recommend, Pecos Trail Cafe. Lisa Trujillo

I just arrived in Santa Fe and tried this place based on reviews and location. I had a simple meal of chicken enchiladas with salsa verde and it was awesome. The chicken was grilled, tasty and tender. The sauce was home made and mildly spicy. The pinto beans were tasty and whole instead of the puree some places serve. The rice was perfectly cooked and fresh. Even the lettuce and tomato was very fresh. Clean place. It seemed the owner and his wife served me and were super friendly.

We came to New Mexico for the food and this place definitely delivered! We were looking for a quick place to grab lunch after hiking and came across Pecos Trail Cafe – a little off the beaten path. I had the sangria and frito pie, which were both excellent, and my husband had the enchiladas. We also had flan for dessert, which was the best flan I’ve ever had (even coming from New York). The owner is super friendly too – I recommend making it to this place!

We’re visiting from Hawaii and attended a family event here. The food was tasty and satisfying, the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely eat here again the next time we’re in Santa Fe.

Great food, highly recommend the Rib eye steak, New Mexican. Steak cooked to perfection and the chili relleno, is nothing like I had before in San Diego. The coating was crunchy even with the green chili sauce draped over the top. The owners and staff were spot on, knowing we were not from New Mexico. Great service. Best food in Santa Fe and a spot for locals to gather. They have live music on the weekends.

They do not honor reservations. They take no responsibility for their oversights. Very odd management. They may or may not be open on any given day. Hopefully they have plans to sell to new owners so this place can be managed even remotely professionally.

The worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Santa Fe. The Chile con queso was some weird ball park nacho-like flavorless cheese sauce. What’s even stranger is they smother many of their seafood dishes in this stuff. The waiter apparently didn’t turn our order in and we were told over and over that the kitchen was working on it but it never showed. We left after waiting for an hour and an half after our arrival at the restaurant without a meal. Funky tasting margaritas as well. Definitely not the “hidden gem” as advertised.
