The restaurant is lovely, the food was okay. We ordered Turkey sliders, Philly egg rolls, lemon pepper wings, loaded fries and onion rings. The wings were very salty but cooked really well, nice and crispy. The onion rings I did not really like the batter it was on the thick side. The egg rolls were decent along with the loaded fries. We arrived at 7pm on a Thursday night and apparently the party was already started. They had a DJ and the music was nice, it was too loud though. I struggled to hear the people at my table. I asked the waitress if we can request it be turned down a tad. Obviously not it never went down. It seems to be the fad lately. I am not against music, I just don’t know why it has too be so loud you cannot carry on a conversation with people at your table. Mind you when we arrived, we were the only people sitting at a table. A few people at the bar, so again why so loud. They also have room where you can smoke shisha (hooka) but the door was not closed. The place is really nice, if loud music, good drinks and good environment are what you are into then give it a go.

This place is stunning in so many ways. The decor, the food, and the vibes are just right! This cozy spot is perfect for date night, solo date, or dinner with a few friends. The prices for everything was very reasonable. I came here for No Covers Open Mic on a Tuesday and it was phenomenal! The performers were all so different and kept me interested the whole time! As far as the food, I tried the smoked turkey sliders and they blew me away! The turkey was very tender and the slaw topped it off. I spent under $30 and came out fully satisfied! Thanks for an awesome night!

I visited this restaurant for my friend’s birthday dinner, and overall we had a wonderful experience. When we arrived, the atmosphere was beautiful — the restaurant was nicely decorated and they were playing soft music, which set the perfect vibe for a celebration.
There was a small misunderstanding at the beginning regarding our table decorations. I had brought a tablecloth after calling ahead and being told it was okay, but when we arrived, an employee initially said outside tablecloths weren’t allowed. However, once I explained the situation, the manager honored what I had been told, which I truly appreciated. Miscommunication happens, but how they handled it showed professionalism.
From there, everything was amazing. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was top-tier. Our servers, Monika and Jasmine, were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of all night. Destiny, who handled the hookah, was also great — when I wasn’t satisfied the first time, she fixed it immediately with no hesitation.
Manager Preshique checked on us several times throughout the evening, making sure everything was perfect. She made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely valued — like we weren’t just customers, but guests in their home.
What was supposed to be just a birthday dinner turned into a really memorable night because of the amazing staff and service. I would definitely return and recommend this place to others looking for a great atmosphere, good food, and a team that truly cares about their guests.

Went here to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Made a reservation. Only for a table for 5. Service was slow! Appetizers came after main course. Food was cold. Drinks were super slow. Staff was hanging out behind the bar. They refused to light the cake. They refused to turn down the music so we could sing happy birthday. We drank mixed drinks from plastic cups. No napkins. Tab came to $225 and we tpped $60. The place was almost empty and after the service on a Saturday night at 6 p.m i know why. Do not recommend to my worst enemy. If you want a place to take cute photos enjoy. If you want good food good service good vibe, go some where else.

I have truly struggled with writing this review. My visit was about 4-5 months ago! The place is beautiful aesthetically, nice vibe, all that checks the box. Service leaves a lot to be desired. The food comes it’s outstanding! Hubby got lamb chops cooked well, the last one he cut was literally bleeding., too bloody for his liking. We tell the server. , she takes the lamp chop back to show the chef. Evidentially she told the mgr as well.
Now here’s my biggest issue, STRIKE 309.
The mgr approaches our table (attitude on 100). She said I understand there was a problem with your food. Hubby says the lamb chop was undercooked. She looks at the plate, in her voice filled with attitude she said “ I see you ate it” Now remember the server has taken it back to the kitchen…..
I instantly was offended, this is where I interject, I said he did not eat it, the server took it to be recooked….
She goes to the kitchen to verify, comes back with zero attitude and completely humbled, she says your food will be right out and in a whisper, touches my hubby on the shoulder and says “Sorry about that”. Sorry is NOT a word to be used in business, A better statement, Sir, I apologize for the inconvenience and confusion we are cooking that same lamp chop (not a fresh one) and bringing it back to you on a saucer. The issue I have is we are all capable of making mistakes, the struggle comes when we have to own up to them! The good is really really good, but the customer service if not corrected will be your downfall! Best of Luck! Hampton needs more black owned businesses, but remember you need Hampton to thrive! I will revisit again with high hopes !!

I went to Pecola in Hampton for brunch today and absolutely loved it! The ambience is perfect—chic, inviting, and definitely giving “brunch with the girls” or “birthday celebration” vibes. The food and drinks were on point, and I even tried the hookah—10/10 recommend! I love finding a good, affordable hookah spot, and this one checks all the boxes. I’ll definitely be back!
