After living in the Grand Valley for over 8 years now, I finally made my way into Peche to enjoy a fine meal. I couldn’t have been more impressed. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the bartenders and kitchen work on creating delicious dishes and fine cocktails.

While certainly on the pricey side of things, when compared to other options in the Grand Valley, I thought the pricing was reasonable, especially given the generous portions.

I highly recommend the Chicken Parmesan; quite frankly the best I’ve ever had. Served deconstructed it was an enjoyable way to eat it as I was able to construct every bite with the perfect amount of sauce, which kept the breading on the chicken crispy throughout the entire meal.

We finished the meal with Creme Brulé, which was served to us and then finished with a cast iron “brand,” if you will, that warmed and crystalized the top layer perfectly.

It was a unique experience and I only kick myself for not eating here sooner!

This is the most professional establishment in the Grand Valley and possibly the entire west slope. We sat at the kitchen bar, and I was amazed at the training that the chefs here have clearly received. I have 15 years experience in fine dining mostly in CA, and the young kitchen staff had the same urgency, focus, and dance of any of the best restaurants thay I’ve been to or worked at. The food was outstanding – an eclectic menu, to be sure, but for me personally that makes it fun. The atmosphere was a good balance of buzzy and bustling, noisy but not too loud. As a former pastry chef, perhaps the biggest deal for me was that the desserts delivered. I am almost always disappointed by the desserts at restaurants, even fancy ones, but not here! The fall creme brulee was subtle and divine.

Some finer points:
It’s pricey, but in this case, food-wise you do get what you pay for. Portions are not skimpy and the balance of flavors in each dish we had were spot on.

My husband and I didn’t love that you’re expected to order everything at the beginning – you get one chance to order. We felt a little bit rushed…granted, we were there for 2.5 hours but would have appreciated 3 to really savor and enjoy. For the price we paid, I would have liked more control over this aspect of the meal.

I was disappointed with our server’s lack of knowledge about the wines on the menu. We like to pair wine with each course, but a good amount of knowledge is needed to do so well. She did let us have tastes of a couple wines so we could decide, but the servers here should be regularly tasting every single wine on the menu so they know what to recommend.

All of that said, what a delightful experience for our anniversary, and you should definitely order the steamed pork buns!

One of the best meals we’ve ever had!
This place is spectacular. The staff is super friendly and they work in unison and quickly. The kitchen is right behind the bar so we could see them doing the cooking and prep; incredible team. I had the ribeye which was spectacular along with fries cooked in beef tallow. She had the chicken tiki, also incredible. Good wine, best peach salad I’ve ever had and a nice souffle for dessert.
I cannot recommend this place any higher. We got lucky at 5:00 without a reservation, but if you’re going to be in Palisade, you should get a reservation several days in advance.

The friendliness and maturity of the young staff was one of a kind! I highly recommend treating yourself a dinner out to this one of a kind restaurant!

We recently dined at Peche and overall had a great experience. We sat at the chefs counter and Grant was a pleasure to talk with. We ordered the pea and the foie gras appetizers (definitely highlights of the meal!), the steak for the main, and peach crisp for dessert. All of the food was exceptional (except the frites that accompanied the steak were a bit average / greasy).

Our main issue had to do with the lack of knowledge our server had when asked basic questions about the menu. If you’re going to have a cocktail menu with no descriptions, all of the servers should be able to accurately describe the drinks. Instead we were met with an “I don’t know, I’m new.” She also didn’t make any effort to find someone who could answer our questions. That being said, after some Google searches to figure out what the drinks may be, we ordered some cocktails and they were spectacular – great tasting, presented beautifully, and worth the price. It definitely just felt like a bit of let down after hearing how amazing the service is here.

We certainly look forward to coming back to Peche in the future, but hope training of servers is taken into account more seriously.

What a gem. Amazing food, wine, and service. Felt almost Michelin like. We enjoyed the Palisade peach salad, heirloom tomatoes, pork Milanese, ribeyes, and tiki Marsala.

We drove 75 miles to go out to eat for our anniversary b/c we had been to Peche once before with friends. The atmosphere was nice, loud but not too loud. The staff were pretty attentive, but didn’t seem to know the menu as well as they should have. Our appetizer was phenomenal, but our entrees were a bit of a disappointment. The tandoori chicken was overcooked, and the side vegetable was oily and bland. The Mexican platter really seemed out of place on the menu. For two people, with only two drinks the bill was $180 but the satisfaction was not commiserate with the cost.

Honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that cares about the food they serve and the experience behind it. Kitchen is a well oiled machine. Cocktails are amazing. I’ve been all over the world eating amazing meals and I think this could be some of the best eating food I’ve ever been served. Highly recommend this spot if you’re a foodie like me. You will love it.

This place is an absolute five-star. It’s Michelin-quality food! I was blown away by the ambiance and the service, not to mention the food. We started with the ravioli. That were absolutely amazing, the sourdough bread is to die for. We had three entrée, and all of them were incredible. We will be back!

We celebrated an anniversary dinner at Peche Restaurant recently and I was surprised at the noise level when we arrived-loud. Started with Sourdough Boule-it was steaming when served but the crust was burnt on the bottom and a tough outer crust. Ordered the ribeye and surprised that I couldn’t order medium doneness, the chef cooks it to rare or well done only. It was delicious but more rare than I prefer. The side of frites was a generous size and the pesto dipping sauce was tasty but very soggy fries. The grilled lettuce was good. Dessert we chose the raspberry soufflé and it was the best part of dinner. Service was excellent, but we both were surprised at how loud the place was throughout our 2 hour visit. This was a one and done: will not return to Peche. Expensive.
