Our first impression was: this is a fairly cliquish joint. it is in a very small town of Warren Illinois. Mostly a farming and tight-knit community and we did not feel like we belonged here. I have been drinking Pecatonica beer out of the bottle for a long time now and I’ve always liked their amber brew and thought we would go to the tap room and get some fresh. I think only one person was working and she did serve me pretty fast but definitely without a smile. And she was not very nice the way she told me they don’t take credit cards. Seemed like she was trying to get rid of of me as she didn’t even point me at the ATM machine and I had to ask where it was. There are plenty of other breweries in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin that have treated me way better and do have better beer.

Stopped in for a quick bite and glad we did. The atmosphere was great. Excellent beer selection, even if you don’t care for craft beer they had others to choose from. The night we stopped they had two menu choices. We had the smash burgers and they were absolutely delicious. Staff was super friendly with excellent service.
