Pearly Gates Bar & Grill has been a favorite spot of mine for years—a classic, welcoming biker-friendly hangout in Green Bay with great food (try the prime rib or pizza!), cold drinks, and that genuine Wisconsin vibe. But what really set it apart was the annual Pearly Gates Veterans Charity Ride that Jeff and the team organized to support local vets and their families. I absolutely loved those rides—they brought the community together for an amazing cause. I still have a short beginning video from the last one on my ’96 Softail Custom Springer (Jim & Sue Murphy, aka Murph), where nearly 900 riders showed up. It was epic, and the fundraising impact was huge.
I really miss those rides and wish they could come back, but I completely understand and side with the owner on why they had to stop. Insurance costs have skyrocketed in recent years, making it incredibly expensive and risky to host large group rides. On top of that, a few irresponsible people caused problems that unfortunately ruined it for the vast majority who participated safely and respectfully. It’s a shame, but Jeff’s decision makes total sense—he’s poured so much heart into supporting veterans through the benefit events, scholarships, and more. The good work continues without the ride portion, and that’s what matters.
If you’re in the area, stop by Pearly Gates. Great people, great causes, and you’ll feel right at home. Highly recommend!

If you know, you know. Pearly Gates is the hidden gem of Green Bay’s East side. A Veteran’s Bar & Grill that is very active in the community. Probably the cleanest, most well-run restaurants you will ever step foot into. Jeff takes a lot of pride it making this way.
This is one of my favorite places to stop in GB. The burgers at Pearly are simply awesome. Legit hand-pattied, juices running down your chin awesome. If you order yours med-rare, you get it med-rare.
Their salads, chili, chicken dinner, & specials are great as well.
Just a really great place to check out. And once you do, you’ll be back!

Superb! Fantastic! Loved it! We both got the Philly cheese steak sub, and a assorted appetizer basket. I have zero complaints! The waitress was fast, knowledgeable, polite, the food was all hot!! And all tasted amazing and delicious!. And as a veteran I appreciate the dedication displayed throughout the pub/dinning. We will be coming back our next time in Wisconsin. (We are “yoopers” Upper Peninsula of Michigan) .

The atmosphere is more bar than restaurant. However, the food was delicious. Two of us had the broasted chicken. It was cooked perfectly. Very attentive service.

Stopped here for Friday fish fry. So glad we did. Wait was less than an hour maybe 45 minutes. Had the pan fried walleye and my better half had the seafood plate. Both were very excellent. So glad we stopped here.

Owners of this restaurant is super awesome and know how to run business. All staffs are great and run smooth to take order.
Owner does show respect to Veterans and appreciate . He does give a nice Veterans coin for those who serve in army. Every year they do fundraising for veterans and pick winner for raffle.
So I have been hearing past few year winners said “There is CATCH!” If you win then they will make you BUY EVERYBODY a drink. How stupid is that. Rip off.
Their foods are way too delicious and cook ever perfect. I love their chicken, wrap and burgers!
There are few tv to watch and music to listen to.

My wife and I stopped here while waiting for the shop to finish our car work. She and I are both veterans so it was a nice surprise this is a veteran-supportive establishment.
We both had the chili which was excellent. She had seafood tacos which she liked and I had a bacon blue burger which was very good.
Highly recommend, will come back.
