Our server was friendly, patient, and gracious. I ordered the jambalaya, and my two dining companions ordered the shrimp Alfredo and the Southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and collard greens.

Bailey was a FABULOUS server. The food was pricey but well worth it. My only negative was the wait. The New Orleans smell made you hungry immediately after entering. The atmosphere was suitable for all ways dressed.

Will definitely be back to try the rest- tried the Fried alligator (omg the dipping sauce), fried green tomatoes, creamed spinach, crawfish cakes, shrimp jambalaya (if you don’t like it very hot you can get half/half flavored rice) and beignets . ****Make reservations ahead of time- it was packed on a Tues night*** very good service, great atmosphere and unique menu!

Fantastic food and service was great (other reviews must be based on a different server) we started with the fried green tomatoes and corn chowder based on reviews and they were both very good. I order the Cajun shrimp alfredo and it was delicious, the brisket was just okay (as other reviewers have noted) it is served with gravy/smothered style vs traditional bbq, so just be aware of that, otherwise it was very tender. The Cajun shrimp sautéed were also very good. We wanted to try a crawfish boil but it wasn’t available, maybe it’s just on special days. Finished with the Bananas Foster – which was heavenly!

2nd year in Elk Rapids and enjoyed Pearls both times. Lots of food/portions and service great! They also have the atmosphere down pat! Make a reservation though! They fill up and waits can be long. Well worth the trip!

First time stopping at Pearl’s, although I have been to the “sister” restaurants (Cafe Sante and Red Mesa) many times.

Haven’t been to Pearl’s in years but was wandering my way home and not on a time schedule so I decided to stop for lunch and glad that I did. Service and food was outstanding just as I remembered.

A local friend recommended this place. Definitely popular with the locals. We arrived at around 5:30pm and it filled up quickly. Inside is larger than it looks from outside; there are two seating areas with booths in the front, a bar area, and more seats in the back. Decoration was funky and authentic.
