We had such a wonderful experience at Pearls in Elk Rapids! The atmosphere was really fun and lively, and the food was great (we even got to sample the delicious soup!).
A huge shoutout to our server, Becky, who was truly amazing! She was incredibly attentive, professional, and even laughed at my jokes, making the whole meal enjoyable. She also convinced me to come back by describing how fantastic their Sunday brunch is!
I also really enjoyed the Hurricane cocktail—it was perfectly made, and it’s been ages since I’ve had one.
I will definitely be going back! Highly recommend!

My friend really likes this place and wanted me to try it. They had specials for the week and the waitress, Nikki, recommended the Bourbon specials so we did. He had the Monte Cristo with Bourbon turkey and I had the Bourbon Beef Stroganoff. Both were really delicious. Nikki was very helpful with any of our questions. The atmosphere is really unique. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend trying it out if you are ever passing through the area.

Loved eating at Pearls! We had the Jambalaya, Creole Linguine and the Catfish (get the Crawfish sauce that is optional with the Catfish – SO good!!). All were very yummy! It’s a casual atmosphere and you don’t feel rushed to eat and get out.

I didn’t take many pictures but my girls loved the atmosphere and the gators on the ceiling. We ordered the gator app and even the kids liked it. Huge fan of the Shrimp and Grits and the Banana’s Foster Old Fashion. Portion sizes are pretty large or we would have had the Banana’s Foster for dessert. Service was quick which is so helpful with young ones and the staff was super friendly.

Our server Nikki was awesome! I had gumbo and collard greens. Wife had French onion soup. Food was spot on. Jalapeno cornbread was delicious! Atmosphere was great with music at a reasonable volume.

Went out of our way to come here, everything was super tasty. Tried the alligator out of our comfort zone and it was really good! The vibes inside are awesome, super kitschy and fun. Really enjoyed it!

Great place with lots of character and unique wall hangings. Even the bathrooms are decorated with murals etc. Lots of room and parking spaces. The corn bread was a little dry and not super warm but the alligator bites appetizer was semi spicy and blackened. The dip that came with it tasted great. For my meal I had the blackened shrimp alfredo and the shrimp tasted sweet to me not spicy and the portion size was just right. My partner had one of the salads and it was a pretty big portion size. I will definitely come back when in the area.

Truly a southern bell hidden in a small town. Drove over on vacation and was not disappointed.
Great spice levels, flavorful not painful. Great selection, even had Abitas.

Would not recommend.

The place was dark and the air felt stagnant. Millions of decorations that looked like they haven’t been touched or dusted in years. The menu was short, though we did come for lunch so that may have contributed to the limited selection.

The food was a mix of good and bad, the alligator bites were very flavorful and paired great with the sauce offered. Wings were also really good. The Cajun chicken linguine pasta was not great and the portion was kind of small. The sirloin beef Bolognese was not good at all. The drinks were strong and the banana foster dessert was incredible.

The servers were not kind. Our particular server was speaking poorly about other employees and about her schedule to her coworkers in front of us, definitely did not want to be there. When she came to flambé our dessert (with a bic lighter) she mentioned how she does not like when people order this particular desert at the bar.
A little awkward!
