WOW! Our first night in NZ and we stumbled across this gem of a place! We loved the vibe and the truly authentic vegetarian meal that we had! It was utterly delicious and we were thrilled to see so many great options on the menu! The service was fast and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our night out.

Had lunch here recently and really enjoyed it! The service was quick and friendly, and the food came out fast and hot. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour, though even the mild option had a bit of a spicy kick – something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to heat. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a clean and cosy feel. At $17 for a lunch meal, it’s great value for the portion size and quality. Would definitely come back for another visit!

Absolutely delicious food, full of flavour and you can really taste the spices. We had the Chicken Bhuna and Paneer with cashew and fenugreek, wonderful. We live on the north shore but this place is worth the trip, too many places serve bland food, this is the complete opposite. Service is friendly and at the right pace. Thanks so much for an excellent meal, highly recommended.

This restaurant was truly satisfying. My partner and I visited on a Tuesday evening, wanted to have butter chicken for dinner. The space was spacious and inviting, and the staff greeted us warmly and with genuine friendliness.
We ordered a slightly spicy butter chicken, butter naan, pickles, and garlic chicken curry. The butter chicken was exceptional – adding a touch of spice elevated its flavours perfectly. The garlic chicken curry was also delicious and paired wonderfully with the naan and pickles.
Overall, it was an incredibly enjoyable dining experience, and I especially appreciated the flavourful dishes. It’s always a joy to discover a great curry spot. I highly recommend this place!

I ordered takeaways from Pearl Indian Eatery and was impressed at how good the food was. It was probably some of the best Indian I’ve ever had in Auckland – beautiful flavours, delicious nan and mouth watering tandoori. I bought the $60 special and added the tandoori set. This was more than enough for 5 people … which for under $20 per person is really good value.
I would definitely recommend Pear Indian Eatery as a great place to get delicious Indian.

We love Indian curry-food. This restaurant is one of our top picks. Yummy butter chicken for our boys today; other two curry dishes -chicken Madran and Lamb Roganjosa for ourself. We all love them. The meat in the curry was juicy and soft. Service was excellent and fast. We finished two bowls of rice and 3 Naans. Incredible!
