I’ve been going here for a number of years. Even before the pandemic. The food has been consistently good, with the exception of the height of the pandemic.
On other platforms, this place isn’t rated high however this place for dim sum is always packed. This says wonders about the other sites.
Today’s visit for dim sum was just like the other times. Place was packed and there was a wait of 20 mins. The service was okay and the food was good. Parking wasn’t an issue as there were plenty.
This is a go-to spot for dim sum for sure.

whoa, very authentic dim sum place. lots of options. long wait (30 minutes) which is a good sign. friends newly arrived from China said they felt at home with the whole place: waiters, dishes, tastes, and so on.
Lots of families, grandmothers, and kids. it’s a lively place. waiters race back and forth.
it’s remarkably inexpensive. too many dim sum dishes for three people was only $60.

We have been loyal customers for many years, but this time was truly disappointing. We ordered the Spicy Chicken with Jellyfish, a dish I personally love and order almost every visit. However, this time, it was almost entirely jellyfish with barely any shredded chicken. It seemed like, since it was close to closing time, they didn’t want to prepare the chicken and just gave us extra jellyfish instead.
We simply wanted an explanation. When we asked the server why there was no shredded chicken, they insisted that this was how the dish was supposed to be. I explained that I’ve had this dish many times before, and it has always had more chicken than jellyfish. Then, they called another server, who repeated the same response. At this point, it wasn’t just about adding more chicken—it felt like they were questioning my experience, as if I was making an issue out of nothing.
Normally, this dish is served quickly since it’s a cold appetizer. But this time, it was the last dish to arrive, and we even had to follow up because we were almost done eating. The server then explained that it took longer because they had to shred the chicken—yet ironically, there were barely any pieces of chicken in the dish.
It’s extremely disappointing to see the restaurant treating loyal customers this way, trying to cover up an issue instead of addressing it honestly.

Dim sum quality is traditional & good but not the kitchen specialty dishes like roasted pigeon,- the toughest pigeon meat ever tasted ,we only ate a 1/4 of it & not fresh, royal clam pan fried rice noodle – very little royal clam & not fresh! Pricing is about the same as other 4* Chinese restaurants but the service a 0 compared to other restaurants like Mayflower & Koi. Waitress who serviced us was rude & even stare at how much tipping u wrote on the bill after u paid!!

The place was filled with people, but we got our table soon.
Their service is a little pushy and rush. They walk around with food and ask you if we want them. I guess that’s a kind of their traditional style of service. You have to firmly decline their offers if you don’t want any of them, which are not foods you ordered.
This place is my family friend’s go-to place , so I believe their tastes are authentic.
I wish they would do little nicer and friendly service.

What a delightful and delectable dim sum restaurant in San Leandro area. It’s very close to Alameda. A big plus for the Alamedans. The dim sums are not as oily like others that we have visited. The only drawback would be the noise level. You pretty much have to raise voice to get your companions heard.

Amazing. No need to go to SF.
The BBQ pork bun is one of the bays best.
