We had dinner here tonight and it was amazing. Our Server name was Kris and she did an awesome job. I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail and three raw oysters. My date ordered Salmon Crudo and the Chicken Sandwich. I tried a bit of both and they were delicious. The service is outstanding. The vibe is trendy. The entire experience was just wonderful. Reservations are recommended.

Not really impressed with the seafood. Both the fish we order were dried and bland. The seafood tower is bland too. I preferred seafood broil restaurants because the flavoring is much better. We booked here due to Amex perks of Resy $100.00 credit. The atmosphere and drinks is good but definitely not for seafood. There are certainly better options in the area such as McCormick seafood. Dining area is small but I think they have a private area for larger party. If you enjoy seafood, this place will disappoint you.

This is amazing place with certain highlights which has quite higher value.
Octopus – nothing crazy. The veggie side had red bell pepper in it that didnt bond well with octopus itself which could be a little thicker piece so that is can be cooked properly. Thin part was crispy, thick part was chewy. You can taste they have a fire in the kitchen, it could taste much better if it was seared.
Crab dip – amazing, get one but take your time not to burn your mouth – I think waiters should always warn people when dish stays hot much longer.
Oysters – indeed great, they were all well preserved, enough juiceness and opportunity to make a good combo of 2 if you order them in pair. I’d say they were 95% well cleaned and that one time with a tiny sand in your mouth was a great reminder of extreme spectrum of raw food experience. It was so good I ordered the same another combo to try again each with two combined sauces now.

I had a gin based cocktail with sage in it. It was delicious, a good mix and ingredients were good as well. They dont use much measurement cups so the same cocktail can be always different and not a continuation of the same one you ordered so I advise you to order a different one.

The hostess was amazing, she would actually make an eye contact with clients and not give fake speeches, she was real and descent.
Overall the service is good. And it is Philly, a place where people will always talk to you and you share with them which oysters was your favorite.

All this including tip was like $140 ish but I had 2 cocktails and 2 round over Oysters, so I think this is a reasonable price with service food and design. It’s a lot to write, I’d write about design too but I’m getting tired.

We sat at the beautiful bar, ordered half a dozen oysters, mahi mahi tacos, shrimp dumplings and bouillabaisse. Food was fantastic, everything was flavorful. Our bartender Isaac made off the menu drinks which were better than expected. Great experience!

We made reservations to have dinner and we really enjoyed ourselves. For starters I had the New England Clam Chowder and my girlfriend had the deviled eggs. We both enjoyed our appetizers. The chowder was very tasty and thick. The deviled eggs were delicious as well. For our entrees we had the steak frites and the scallops, both meals were cooked perfectly. We enjoyed our meal and will most likely go back to enjoy their raw bar.

Brian is truly an exceptional bartender! Food was extremely good, especially the crab spaghetti. The bartender did warn me that it was a little bit spicy, but I don’t mind that – it had a nice smoky kick to it! ️ I also had the lobster mac and cheese. A bit too creamy for me, but you can tell that it’s definitely prepared to someone’s liking. There was nothing wrong with it, just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Pearl and Mary has hits and it has misses. TLDR I still think much of the food quality is good (small plates and entrees) but I used to really like their key lime tart dessert and it’s so disappointing now! It wasn’t tangy and the crust was a little mushy/mealy and felt like it was probably frozen poorly.

They werent prepared for our reservation and it also was changed online to “outside” for a large group when I specifically requested inside, but luckily when we got there they rearranged some tables to keep us inside. I’m not sure why resy didn’t send a notification when the seating location changed, although it did when our party size was more accurately reflected.

The key lime tart is no longer as good as before, and feels like it might’ve come from the freezer. It was a little mealy in the crust and had weak lime flavor, like it was edible but not how I remember it in its first year. I can handle the price increase of the dessert but it’s just sad to find out the good dessert I dreamt of from two years ago has been replaced. It seems like the pecan upside down cake is still good tho based on my friend’s review so I recommend that over the key lime tart.

Their small plates are good still and entrees are a hit but there are so many things on the menu that seem to be priced unreasonably. One of my friends ordered the shrimp cocktail and we came to find out that it’s cost is by the shrimp… At 5$ per shrimp. Luckily my friend only ordered two but still $10 for two shrimp is crazy. Technically I guess you could infer it but damn that’s crazy because they tried to get enough shrimp so it was a shrimp per person and I think we would’ve been pretty upset if we had done that based on their rec.

Their drinks are aesthetic and tasty. For non drinkers I recommend the Pearl’s Punch (I think that’s the name), it tastes refreshing and sweet.

The manager did come around to ask how things are but I’m not really one to complain about things I ordered unless there’s something terribly wrong and it’s fixable… So it’s fine but please note that it’s just kind of a mixed bag I think. If you order the right things you’ll have a good experience but if you don’t study the menu and RECENT pictures you might be a little sad.

This place is a must-try, especially for happy hour! The deals on seafood are amazing—think $1 oysters and shrimp that are super fresh. And seriously, don’t skip the cocktails; they’re delicious and perfectly mixed.

Our bartender, Brian, was awesome. He was friendly, sharp, and made sure we never had to wait for a thing. The place definitely fills up and gets a great, busy vibe as the night goes on, so if you’re not planning on just grabbing a seat at the bar, you’ll want to book a table ahead of time.

My one small complaint is that the two single-stall unisex bathrooms can create a bit of a wait, but it’s a minor detail in an otherwise great night out.

I really enjoyed the service and the staff were warm and welcoming. One thing I did notice, though, was that the food runners repeatedly tried to give my dishes to the white guest sitting beside me instead of to me. As a non‑white diner, it felt awkward and a bit disappointing. I’m mentioning it because I hope the restaurant can be more attentive about this going forward.

Great ambience, amazing food options! My third time visiting Pearl and Mary and I’m still amazed about how rich and tasty their menu is. I would absolutely recommend and it’s now my go to place for oysters in the city-and I eat them a lot! Definitely a 10/10!
I would be visiting again very soon!
