Much appreciated HOT Asian food in the Banff area during winter. We had dinner at 6pm on a weekday. Lots of tables available and service was quick and efficient.
We ate the raw beef pho + tofu & veggie pho which came in huge portions. (Photos were taken after we started eating so ingredients were actually more).

I have been eating from peak for the better part of two years, today i ordered my usual Bahn Mi and the meat portion was substantially smaller than usual and it was essentially just salad. I called to let them know as a regular, just curious if there had been a change and was met with a very abrasive and rude response telling me that this is just normal, very disappointing from my favourite quick lunch spot in Banff, wont be going back any time soon.

Satay chicken pho broth was soooo flavourful. Was a bit disappointed it did not come with actual satay but it’s truly one of the best and most unique pho’s I’ve had.

Peak Cafe has been a long-time favorite of mine in Banff. I absolutely love their lemongrass chicken sub—it’s a must-order every time! However, on my last visit with my partner, his meal wasn’t quite up to the high standard I’ve come to expect here. Everything else was great as usual, but it was a bit of a bummer since the food is normally flawless. Still a great spot, just hoping for more consistency next time!

Food is horrible, no favor. Also order drink on the wall, don’t even come out close to what it look like. I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

Peak Cafe in downtown Banff is a great low-budget option for Vietnamese food. My husband and I tried the rice bowl with beef, chicken, and shrimp, as well as the stir-fried rice meal with beef, chicken, and pork. Both dishes were delicious and fresh, with generous portions. The menu offers a variety of options, making it easy to find something for everyone. For anyone looking for a tasty and affordable meal in Banff, Peak Cafe is definitely worth a visit!

Ordered pho, wonton soup, and fried rice. Nothing outstanding but still got the job done. I definitely had better elsewhere but still glad I gave this place a try. Portions were reasonable for the prices. Fast wait time for our food and was able to sit outside to eat. If I return, I’ll definitely try other dishes because they have a big menu!

Had three grilled meats vermicelli bowls and they were all really good. Comes with a peanut sauce instead of the typical fish sauce which made them kinda unique.

FANTASTIC!! Value, volume and taste.
We did “typical” breakfast her, Big Breakfast, eggs, bacon, hash browns etc $11. Can back for Viet Pho and BahnMi takeaways for lunch and they alsobindicidually packed us up Crispy Pork and Vermicelli Chicken meals for our glamping stay in Kananaskis. $75 for lunch and Dinner for 2 :).
Highly recommend for valuable and service. Check them out for sure.

We were visiting lakes around Banff and wanted something hot. Found this place and the ramen was so delicious as well as the rice bowl with chicken and pork. It was very flavorful and the service was good.
Also, the matcha cheesecake was very good too.
