The place was very clean and friendly. The decor was basic with wood benches. Food came out fresh and fast. I ordered catfish and I’m not a fan of bones, I did not know this before. Waitress did warn me, so that is my style only. Even with getting three catfish, I was still not full when done. I will definitely come back, and just try something different.

I was disappointed after hearing how great this place is with lines out the door and wrapped around the building. I found the food to be very mediocre. Flounder was dry, shrimp were frozen not fresh with little flavor and chewy. The stuffed crab are pre bought frozen. The baked beans were pork and beans with ketchup and brown sugar added. Green beans can be full of strings. The hush puppies were good. I did not try the BBQ and can only hope that is the draw for this place because the seafood was definitely not up to par. Our witness Myra was great, and on top tea refills. Would not recommend nor go back.

Finally got a chance to come here because of there weird hours lol but we were greeted upon entering, seated & served quickly. The food was good. The hush puppies were THE best. Didn’t care for the baked beans, slaw or green beans. The pulled pork also needed some sauce/flavor but The fish, shrimp and chicken strips were very good. The portion size is decent and the price is reasonable. Would recommend for fresh fish.

Peaden’s Catered our Graduation Celebration event for 70 guests and they did not disappoint. From the start, working with Jim and Mary was nothing short of an excellent experience. Friendly, helpful and professional service. Warm, Southern hospitality from the Peaden’s coupled with their delicious Southern food, great follow-up and timely delivery and set-up. We could not have asked for better. We absolutely loved working with these guys and totally enjoyed the delicious food they provided us.

Great food, fast service and reasonable prices. It’s crowded for a reason. The owners are always on site and they care much more than your typical franchised restaurant. The owners, Ricky and Jimmy are a cross between Gorden Ramsey (for great food) and Mother Teresa (for caring about people). My 91 year old father used to eat here regularly once a week. When he got too old to drive they started bringing him his favorite dish for free to his house. No one asked them to do this, and no one would have ever known about it, had I not written this review. Amazing that people and places like this still exist in 2023.

Really nice hole in the wall. The interior is a bit dated, but is definitely a cool time capsule. We ended up waiting closer to 30 min to get seated; judging by thr looks – due to limited seating in the building.

I’m new to the area and tried this place after work just on a google search. Ordered to go but food wasn’t cooked til I got there. I have patience and it paid off, imagine me eating the best seafood plate on the road while driving. They’ve gained a weekly customer maybe even twice a week!
