Came here for breakfast and ordered French Toast with strawberries. The French Toast was good, but it was completely drenched in syrup with some dark and mushy strawberries. Overall quality of everything wasn’t great.

Initially I was probably overreacting a little bit as far as never eaten there again because the food overall there has always been good. The service is excellent and I spoke with management I got a message from the owner trying to make it right as a manager did also I’ll definitely will be frequenting peacocks again I’ve tried to remove the previous post. Unfortunately it was too late. I really wish I could have deleted it and rewrote it. But that is why I’m writing this one. Because I feel horrible now. I eat there all the time I’ve never had a problem like this before and like I said they were more than helpful in trying to solve my problem. An they felt really bad about you know the mess up and definitely were trying to fix it going out of their way as a matter of fact and as I thought about it. It was definitely an accident. So I will be visiting peacocks again. Thank you for the owners and management of this establishment for being so helpful. The garden salad was amazing, i loved the steam shrimp!!! Today my french fries were really good, but most of the times i hate my fries. I don’t know what was done differently with fries but IT WAS SO GOOD!!! Please keep your fries like this. Its doesn’t seem over cooked. Also Patrick was my bartender and he was the best !

I ordered chicken and dumplings, a $11.99 entree, and was very disappointed. For that price, I received a bowl containing mostly mushy dumplings and thin, tasteless broth, with about two tablespoons of shredded chicken in it. The dish was way oversalted and had no flavor other than the salt. When the manager asked how my lunch was, I was honest with him. Instead of apologizing for the quality of the food, he was brusque and rude. He simply walked away from me without a word. He also did this to a group seated at the next booth who had complained about their meal. Bad enough to get poor quality food, but for the manager to be rude and unprofessional made it most unpleasant. I suggest they go up to Baker’s in Cecil County to find out how to make good chicken and dumplings, and provide some management training to the staff.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with french fries. I asked for the coleslaw & BBQ sauce on the side so I could enjoy each flavor. I was impressed to realize this place makes these items…not a canned/packet/frozen item served to me. Awesome cornbread! Coleslaw is very good too! I will eat here again.

I have only been here once so maybe they were having staffing issues but I will not go back. We went for the breakfast buffet and never got any food! The buffet was empty and we sat and waited 25 minutes for them to refill and never did. We decided to go to the dining side of the restaurant and just order from the menu. Got seated at 10:10am and our waitress never came to take our order til 10:26. We were very close to getting up and leaving then she came. Took our order, waited 31 more minutes to get food and it was wrong. We just ate what we got, paid our bill and left. Needless to say we will never go back again.

Great, fresh hot food. I wish they would keep the fries on the menu permanently. As they are incredible in the best fries on the market and they are reheatable, which is very important. Love everything on the menu. The staff is always nice and the service is generally fairly quick through the drive-thru. I can get busy around dinner time, So I would make your plans around that. But I have always been pleased. I would recommend it to anybody.

The food is excellent! Stopped at peacocks while passing thru Princess Anne- didn’t know what to expect but this place did not disappoint. Tuesday is chicken night so I got the 4 pc fried chicken with 2 sides for $8.99 – an absolute steal. The chicken was probably the best I’ve had. The spicy margarita was perfect. Service was also perfect. We def stop at Peacocks whenever I’m in the area.
