The service is fast and friendly. It is a small casual restaurant with a South Indian flavor although North Indian food is offered. But if you are a foodie who has a soft corner for North Indian food then you might not get your money’s worth. But over all decent food with the spice heat level slight high for mild. The Malabar parotta was real nice as were the naans. Their chai was perfect. Yes, give this spot a try ….PS: Dahi chaat papri…is a South Indian touch.

Just celebrated my birthday here with my coworkers and I couldn’t have picked a better place to do it. Service was amazing right from when we entered the restaurant up until when we left the door. The food came within 10-15 minutes after ordering and was insanely flavorful. I was especially a huge fan of their House Special Goat Curry which had a nice kick and impressed a vast majority of my friends, including some first-timers to indian cuisine. The staff and waitresses were super friendly and appreciated how receptive they were to our requests throughout the lunch. Highly recommend having a party here!!

We ordered today Vijayawada chicken biryani and Mirapa Kodi starter for dinner the food was really bad. They just added same chicken 65 pieces in the Mirapakodi and Biryani rice and gave it to us. For the Mirapakodi starter they added the gravy part down and just gave the chicken 65 pieces on the top. The food is not at all spicy it’s like mixing the starter in white rice…we couldn’t eat it anything from the order we just trashed it into the trash bin.
When we call the restaurant and explained the situation of the food. The person just simply said sorry and next time we will check but what about the price that we spent on the food for today is it the way you react? The person is like ok we should say sorry so that they will cut the call and let go of the situation. Very Very bad experience with the peacock Indian restaurant. Unable to upload the video of the food putting in the trash so adding the photo below and the Raita (curd) they gave with biryani is like very worst.

The staff was so nice there!
We got:
Chicken 65
Saag Paneer
Guntur chicken
Garlic naan
Special Briyani
The saag was very good. And to me, that’s one of my favorite dishes anywhere. It was really good.
The chicken 65 was also very well done. Spicy, really flavorful. We’ve had Aga’s too which is fantastic, but this was really well done and different from Aga’s.
Biryani was citrusy, well spiced, wasn’t something over the moon but was good biryani.
Naan was good. It was a solid amount of naan in the one order of garlic naan.
Never had Guntur Chicken before but it was spicy, had a good flavor, was kind of our wildcard pick. We really liked it. Definitely very spicy, not necessarily in a hot way, in a spice way like a lot of good abstract flavors

You’ve got to try it!!!! My dear friend surprised me with a belated birthday dinner & new restaurant adventure. A simple cafe with delightful decor to make it feel like a fancy dinner out. The owner Rammesh was friendly & accommodating and let us swap stories. The food was delicious and on par with some of the more expensive places around Memorial & the Corridor. I was even surprised with dessert.. all pictures worthy of my Instagram. I hope to be back when I get another craving.

This was by far the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Indian food is my favorite, and this place blew me away. I went in with a stuffy nose, and I could smell the food through all of it. The taste was a true basin of flavor, and the staff was so amazing about my spice request for myself and my boyfriend. He requested for them to “light it up,” and I requested a “moderate and light” spice. They did not disappoint as my boyfriend was SWEATING by the time we finished our WHOLE MEAL. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a hearty, delicous meal.
Staff was super kind and well paced, they make recommendations based on your requests and love to chat for short periods of time to let you enjoy the cooks meal!

This place is such a gem! I’ve had takeout from here once before and it was great. Today, my mom wanted to take a small tour of India for our birthday lunch, so we chose Peacock. We were greeted with warm smiles and seated right away. Madhu gave us expert guidance on the menu’s coconut-free options (due to an allergy), as well as spice levels and flavor profiles. She was so sweet and patient! She even gave us complimentary birthday desserts. The food was awesome! After trying so many dishes, I can confidently venture out past simple butter chicken lol (which is awesome here as well). We’ll definitely be back!

Special watery paneer biryani available here only ..we gave complaint multiple times about watery in biryani’s.. will order only paneer or vegetable biryani’s from this restaurant but only few time u will get the good biryanis rest of the time you have to eat watery biryani. I sent videos and photos to them not luck and they are still continuing same watery paneer biryanis so finally writing this review. At least now they will change it I guess.
