My partner, his daughter and I had breakfast at Peacock Diner in the Delmar Loop over the weekend. The food was good. I have no complaints. The diner appeared clean and decorated very nicely. I love that they featured old school toys in the glass wall cases by the tables. That was nostalgic. This was my first time eating there. Upon entry you do have to wear a mask. You also have to order and pay for your food before you’re seated. This process didn’t take long. Our waiter was running the show being the only wait staff present, but he held it down until more people came in. He was efficient and speedy. This establishment is wheelchair accessible as well and family friendly. Overall our experience was great and I would return for another meal.

I played Ms PAC Man . I’m so happy bout that. The eggs were awesome. I don’t really eat eggs, I usually have to give so many instructions. They were the perfect fried and seasoned. I got the very Berry pancakes, with strawberries and blueberries. The lemon whipped cream was . I didn’t need the syrup that came with it. The Turkey sausage had a little spice but nothing I couldn’t handle. The breakfast potatoes hit the spot also. Plenty of games to play for adults and kids. Just in case you get bored waiting on your food. They even have a private booth for lovers who want a little privacy. If you are in the area, you definitely want to give this place a try. I know I will be back.

Took my Kids to Peacock Diner for an early dinner. This was our first time here. The Loop was already busy, with groups of teens and adults walking up and down but Peacock Diner was not busy yet.
We were greeted immediately, told we could sit anywhere and that when ready I should come to the register and order.
The atmosphere is rich with 50’s diner gone atomic modern design. The place is clean and bright. They have a full bar and even spiked shakes. Note: This Dad did not try one because I was with my kids.
About Kids; Peacock Diner does not have a kids menu or kids section on the tri-fold menu on our table? It would have helped a lot . (suggestion to add it) But when I made it over to order, and asked the manager was able to get creative. That was a plus. I could see a few additions to the menu but maybe they will open it up as things progress?
The staff were exceptional, accommodating and polite. This even while a couple came into the restaurant sat at the bar and started up a loud argument for all to hear. Thankful that they left soon enough, oblivious to other people’s/families ideas of a nice evening out.
Welcome to the Loop!
The food came in a few minutes: the shakes were excellent, the burgers and fries huge, hot and delicious. Now my daughter had fresh not frozen waffles with fruit (not on the menu) and ate every bit of it, must have been good.
Staff, atmosphere and food, Peacock Diner has it going. Some fun music might add to the ambience but I’m just being picky.
Thanks

The atmosphere was really cool, and the wait staff was very attentive and friendly.
Sadly, I found the food underwhelming. I got the burger with gouda, bacon and spicy BBQ sauce with onion rings. The bacon was way overcooked, and the sauce wasn’t all that flavorful. The onion rings were the same quality as a fast food place.
I’d like to go back for breakfast and see if that’s where their talent truly lies.

If you’re looking for a late night meal after a concert at The Pageant, this is it! We just needed a quick meal and it was great. The knickknacks were super cute. The service was awesome, everyone was so friendly. Next time I definitely need a boozy milkshake!

Love the decor here. I specifically wore my peacock shirt and peacock sweater for this visit and not one of the 3 employees noticed it. I ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes which were ok. Not as good as my own cakes. Bacon was well done how I like it. My husband liked his breakfast potatoes and tacos. Service was fast. When we went they had us order and pay 1st then find a seat.

Fantastic place so great I stayed from 9am to midnight. Working on some photos and needed a space to work. They were more than welcoming and the food was so good I had breakfast, lunch. Dinner and dessert. Water, lemonade and coffee (decaf) definitely recommend the place!

Wonderful brunch! Awesome sweet and savory choices. Chilis are delicious. Their Bloody Mary might be my favorite ever. Great customer service. Laid back environment. Good for two or big parties.

I rarely give 5 stars, as there’s usually room for improvement, but… not this time. Everything from the atmosphere to the staff was freaking awesome! The food matched. Can’t believe we’ve never been here before. Wow!

My family and I were visiting St. Louis from Georgia. Peacock Diner was AWESOME! Not only did our service attendant, Tyler, provide us with superior service but the food was also fantastic. I ordered a turkey club sandwich on toasted marble rye bread with seasoned fries. To drink I had a cranberry/pineapple juice (mixed) and a water. My sandwich tasted as delicious as it looked. The diner was super clean, including the bathroom. I would definitely recommend the Peacock Diner.
