My mom placed an online order for me and it arrived today. The package of cinnamon buns was broken and plastic stuck to some of the cinnamon buns. I messaged the company and was advised “…we can’t be liable for items damaged in shipping, we do our best but it is not in our hands…”. An offer for free shipping on our next order was made. I don’t choose the packaging for the product or how they ship it. My mom did pay the extra $9 for cold shipping. The whole box was packed like no one cared how it arrived. What I can choose is where we will spend our money and peace of mind is no longer on that list.
UPDATE: Nancy wrote back blaming UPS for this issue. She wrote, “ ..I understand your frustration, but we sent the items out in perfect condition, the blame is on the carrier, so therefore you could file a claim with UPS. Small business’ are not responsible for packages that are damaged by UPS and we would all go under if we took that responsibility on.” I could accept that if the outside box had not arrived in perfect condition with no other items affected. This is an issue of the plastic packaging breaking because it gets too cold and shatters. Businesses tend to go under when they fail their customers and don’t take responsibility for issues that are theirs. If you value your money, beware.

Obsessed with Peace of Mind! Nancy was so lovely to work with and so kind. We ordered cookies for our wedding because we wanted to offer an allergy free option. The cookies were SO GOOD and still good one week later. She packaged them in cake boxes and let us know how to store them until the big day. Would definitely work with Nancy and Peace of Mind again in the future!

Delicious donuts that are safe for our Celiac family members, and so delicious that our non Celiac family members love them too! We are in love with this place. They have the best pizza crust that freezes very well- the best GF crust I’ve had. Their cinnamon buns are to die for- so light and fluffy- I don’t know how she does it!

Too bad I’m limited to 5 stars. This place was tucked in behind the VA medical center in North Conway. They are primarily commercial bakery, that obliged us passing through with their delicious donuts and baked goods. Can’t say enough about the maple brioche. Believe me, you won’t miss the gluten and won’t notice that it’s vegan. Delicious for everybody!

While waiting to pick up lunch elsewhere, we decided to check out this bakery. I am so glad we did! A few bites of donut held us over until lunch was ready, and they were the perfect snack after a day in the mountains. We got Boston cream, Italian wedding cookie, and chocolate donuts—all great flavors! We will definitely stop here again, or pick up her donuts at The Met.

WONDERFUL gluten free bakery!!! A bit confusing to find the entrance but totally worth it. Staff was friendly. The cinnamon rolls are delicious for even regular diet people!! And the apple fritter donut

Not sure how we stumbled across this bakery but the donuts were AMAZING! We tried the chocolate glazed, the cinnamon sugar and the s’mores. They were dense, like many gluten free donuts but were not heavy in my stomach at all! The owner was super sweet and so knowledgeable, plus her company is born out of love for her kids, so that’s just a perk!
