PB & Jimmy’s (Plan B Jimmy) is family owed and operated by 4LBS LLC. We are a catering company operating inside 128 W 2nd Street in downtown Chico, CA. We offer a variety of fusion South East Asian and American hot and cold food items for catering. Unfortunately, we do not open for dining, strictly catering and pop ups at events only. Some of our food items are not our website. Ask and we may be able to accommodate accordingly. You will find some of our food items located inside Chico State at Urban Roots inside the BMU, and Butte Station. Catch us at local events. Food types may vary as seasons change.

PB & Jimmys is a delicious alternative place for lunch. I love the spicy chicken cats over rice . The cilantro salsa is unique and delicious! The homemade Japanese milk break is such treat too! The portion size is more than enough. The owners are such a cute and nice couple! They are hands down my favorite restauranteurs in Chico!

Loved this place, I have a love affair with pork belly and this place does it right, and the skin is crunchy AF, their sticky rice was the best I’ve had, I had a bunch of questions for the owner (I think she was the owner or maybe a family member) and she was helpful and just a delight to talk with. I was able to park right out front cuz the students were gone but during the semester it’ll be a little harder I’m guessing, but hey it’s downtown so…

I’ll be going back to try out some of the ramens which they have a ton of, and their fruit sandwiches were just the right level of sweet and savory

wow! really great addition to chico, i had an incredible pork katsu sando, and a pork belly and sticky rice with an amazing green sauce. they also have grab and go japanese fruit sandos!! will for sure be back!

Yummy clean food. I got the refreshing Papaya salad (Thai style) & pork belly with sticky rice (the green sauce on the side was spicy).
Best of all the staff was helpful & patient in explaining the menu choices. I have leftovers because the pork is very rich)

Before I had PB & Jimmy’s I had nothing to live for, no future, no money, no friends and no family. None of that has changed but PB & Jimmy’s is really good I will definitely come back again.

Delicous!! Im so happy that we have a place like this in town! Their pork katsu sandwiches are amazing as well as their strawberry whipped cream sandos! The bread is made in house and it’s AMAZING! I love the veggie eggrolls as well. Will be back weekly if I can help it!

Trying to eat here has been a struggle. I have tried, for three consecutive weeks, to eat at this restaurant at 11:30 AM on a Saturday, half an hour after opening. One of these times, there was a sign saying they were closed for the day. The other two times, they were shuttered with no notice of closure. I am sure the food is great, but I have made a legitimate effort for weeks to go to the restaurant and have constantly found it closed and inaccessible without reason or explanation. The sister chain Aonami has similar inaccuracies, albeit less pronounced. The food here could be great, and probably is (as Aonami’s was), but do not expect them to be open the first time you try and go there.
