Josh and his wife (I’m sorry but i cant for the life of me remember her name) were very accommodating. When my wife and I travel, we like to scope out the downtown areas. This is great little mom and pop shop. The ice cream was good as well as the atmosphere. When we started our drive home we decided to stop by again and grab some more pickle cotton candy that my wife just loves. They weren’t open so we were resigned to the fact that we would have to come home with out. As we were walking away, just opened the doorand let us in even though they wouldn’t open for another hour. These great folks went above and beyond. We highly recommend Paxon’s Pop Creamery.

Rough Canyon Trading Company is a cute little shop with a big personality! The gift shop has a little something for everyone, including Wilburton t-shirts!, but the best thing ever is if you head straight to the back. Here you will find some of the best ice cream I have ever tried! Like their sign says, life is too short for just vanilla, so try out all the fun flavors! They even offer a sampler platter with 5 mini scoops for the ice cream lover like me that can’t make up their mind on just 1 or 2. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in the door and could see, so did everyone that made it in that same day! If you are looking for a fun place to grab an Oklahoma made treasure or need to cool off with a little sweet treat, you should definitely make your way to this gem on Main street. Just follow the bright pink ice cream flag sign!!

My grandkids and I love this place! The store is always clean and the service is great! The ice cream choices are phenomenal!! My favorites are Sea Turtle, Lemon Cheesecake, and Cookie Jar! The choices are the only thing hard about this place! Try it soon and often!!

Take my family there whenever we have the time. It’s they’re favorite place to hang out in wilburton, amazing atmosphere, chill vibes INCREDIBLE ice cream. They have many other great items as well, cool candies, shirts, cups, home made cutting board, all sorts of cool things!
