There were approximately 6 people in the bar and the music was turned up to 11. The street was closed so we decided to take our drinks outside. Asked for cups and were charged another $1 for the cup. I didn’t tip on the cup purchase, but I saw on my credit card that they had added a tip without my permission.

The place is ok. The catnip beer is finely delicous though . They have nice music but its always the same cat singer Ellie. They have a drink called “Blackout” which is pretty good too. However, its dirty inside with hairballs everywhere..

Took 20 minutes to serve a simple vodka lemonade and had 2 bartenders working on a friday night after a basketball game. Also floors were so sticky I thought I was standing in fly paper. Very poor establishment overall.

The most amazing bar that Athens has to offer. You can always count on a fun night and lots of cheap drinks. Their specialty drink, the blackout, is out of this world. The stage, which belongs to Lainey and I, is the perfect place to be after you’ve had too many drinks and need to dance some of that drink off.

Despite how dirty it is, the drinks are bomb! The catnip beer is great, and I always enjoy the music as well as good company by drunk people. They’ve recently added a new drink.. Teaquila I beleive. Loving that too. But I do have a small complaint that is keeping me from rating 5 stars. That being that the”restrooms” are litterboxes and not really human friendly. And the last time I got attacked by something. Can’t remember because I was drunk but, I still have scars. Anyways, I still highly recomend the blackout, catnip beer, and teaquila.

Pawpurrs is one of the dirtier bars in Athens. They have a wheel to spin for a random drink of alcohol which is fun. Decent music and a mini dance floor towards the back as well as a pool table. They have a good specialty drink called “the blackout”, which you should try on a bar shuffle.
Paw purrs is the second bar in “the triangle” challenge, which is drinking a crystal ball from the Crystal, a blackout from Paw Purrs, then a black widow from Pig Skin in under an hour.

Bathrooms are decent, but not as good as CI’s. It’s usually pretty packed Tuesday nights (50 cent draft night), and sometimes Wednesday, but definitely Thursday-Saturday nights during the school year. Pawpurrs is where you know if you pass thru during another Athens shuffle you’re likely to bump into somebody you know. Warning: you may be subject to getting iced, which involves taking a knee and chugging a Smirnoff ice. There’s also popcorn and Christmas lights. Green lights. Cool bartenders and door guys.
