First time at Paw Paw’s place. Probably one of the safest places to eat thanks to the pro second amendment welcome at the front door. Had a Philly steak and cheese omelette with mushrooms, onions, peppers, and hash-browns and toast on the side. The omelette was in one word, awesome! Very tasty. The waitress was very attentive from the moment I sat down. Got me a cup of coffee and when she returned with that, I gave her the order. The atmosphere is a little dated and could use some updating. However, I have been in five star locations with one and two star food. I’ll take five star food with a two to three star facility any day of the week. Price was a little high for the atmosphere. Waitress earned a good tip because of how attentive she was, but not overbearing. The coffee cup was kept full. As I paid the cashier asked me if I wanted coffee to go. No extra charge. Was a nice perk that I have never experienced anywhere before. I would recommend paper cups instead of styrofoam, as I could taste the styrofoam so I didn’t drink the whole cup. But very much appreciated the offer. There is a reason, however, that Starbucks has gone to paper cups as the chemical leach of styrofoam is not good.
I would most definitely eat there again. Can’t speak on other items on the menu, but can highly recommend the Philly steak omelette breakfast!!!

This is a small diner with both counter and table seating.
I chose to sit at the counter on a stool. This place is well known for thier delicious hamburgers which I have had in the past. On this visit I decided to try thier Philly Cheese Steak sub with all the fixings & the white cheese and fries. The place was busy but with 2 servers & 2 cooks, the people were quickly taken care of. I chose to order coffee & it wasn’t long before my food was ready.
The Sub was delicious & the fries were abundant & tasty.
I finished my meal in about 30 minutes & had a tasty coffee refill to finish off my experience. The price was less than $15 & I left a generous tip for the excellent service. I highly recommend dining here as you will leave happy & fully satisfied.

This place is a hidden gem!! They have a cheeseburger omelet that is to die for! I always hesitate to order omletes because they drown in grease, but here there was NO grease on my plate even with the burger! The portions are huge and they give you half a loaf of bread for toast ! It was incredible. Even though I stuffed myself, I left with a healthy full feeling not a heavy yucky full feeling. Will definitely be going back as much as I can when I am in the area. And the staff are incredible too they are very sweet girls.

Service was good.
We had hotdogs and ff and onion rings. The hotdog was tough like it had either been warm up after being cooked or been cooked for a while, and the buns was really dry as if the air had gotten to them. The ff were really good but the onion rings were way over cooked and very hard. Hotdog toppings tasted ok just not enough of it, the ratios was way off. I give it a 5/10

Breakfast at Paw-Paws. Greeted and seated with menus at the table. Our server is quick to assist with drinks to start and you can watch the cooks prepare your food which is again quickly brought to the table.

It’s so simple but when done right (at Paw-Paws it is done right)… everything is delicious and every one comes away satisfied. When you can get little kids to eat all their food and they’re still happy at the end of the meal…that is a huge win!

Omelette stuffed full, toast in a basket with butter and jam, Mickey mouse pancake, and generous fruit cup, drinks of milk and coffee (the coffee is delicious and straight forward – not watered down).

Worth a stop on the north end of Asheboro.

Ran across this place while in the town of asheboro. The food was downright good and as the front of the restaurant said best hamburgers in town they where huge and amazing make sure you order the paw-paw’s special to get the hamburger on the special bun which takes the hamburger to a whole new level of goodness. If you are in the area or passing by and are in need of a good spot to eat and fill you up Paw-Paw’s is the place. Make sure you get the seasoned fries also. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
