The first time I placed an order here, the food was good…except for the hard and stale red velvet cake. The shrimp were good enough to try again. TONIGHT I WENT AND IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The shrimp were way smaller COLD and thy were drenched in grease. IT SEEMS LIKE THEY WERE COOKED HOURS BEFORE NY ARRIVAL. The fried appeared to be refried and were hard as a brick. Instead of getting fresh and decent food , they offered me a refund. LONG STORY SHORT … I wish there was consistency!!! I ended up going to McDonalds across the street. I will not be going back I’d rather not gamble on if the food may or may not be good for the night. BTW, my refund NEVER SHOWED UP IN NY ACCOUNT.

A friend recommended this establishment, and I wholeheartedly agree that it’s a place you’ll want to revisit. Their Caribbean flavors are exceptional, and the service is excellent. Just ate the second plate, I’m soon disappointed. They literally put the meat in a French fryer to cook, taking away all the flavor. I will never go to a food truck for Haitian food again. Thanks alot!

I don’t know what happened.. Food used to be good but now it like they don’t care anymore.The chicken still has hair on it, was fried in old grease and tastes burnt. That’s how you get heartburn. For the price you pay the chicken and grease should be clean. I definitely won’t be going back.

This is by far the worst food I’ve ever seen in my life. How on earth could you prepare something so atrocious. Then have the audacity to pack it up and give it to UBER Eats for consumption. I just may contact the health department.

I used to love this place but prices are now ridiculous and the food portion has went down. They charge for every little thing down to the sauce and what they give isn’t even enough for the meal. But long story short I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. My night is ruined.

Stopped by late last night to pick up some good food. Paul’s is very convenient because it’s open very late and best of all, the location… they remain in the same location everyday, unlike a lot of food trucks out here. One day they’re there, next day… gone.
Now, the food. Bought one plate of fried wings and one plate of grilled chicken and a separate black rice, which is always good. The chicken has its own spices and flavorings to it, which makes it unique. The only drawback to Paul’s is, that they don’t sell sauce to go with the rice.
