Great little slice of old school blue collar Americana bar atmosphere! Best $4 cheeseburger Ive had in 20years! It was standing room only at 1pm on a sat – we drove in for cody jinks concert. I will come back.

First of WOW…what a great place, I asked a local resident where I can get a Cheeseburger with Atmosphere period !!!!
I ate my Cheeseburger, chips and drank a Petosi Beer before my friend even came close to finishing 1 item….I should have ordered 2. Everyone i encountered while there were friendly and cordial…Will be back for sure

Big game little prices. Lots of trophy mounts all enclosed in glass displays. Locals are friendly, the bartender/cook is quick with a drink and a hot hamburger. They are cooked in a cool little grill oven thing, that’s a 100 yrs old. It tastes amazing.

I would have to say this is definitely a gem of Dubuque. It being the oldest bar in Dubuque opened in 1933. Their burgers are an unforgettable delicacy as well as good memories for many of Dubuquers.

I’m not so sure about “the best burger in town” claim, but it was pretty good for a burger made behind the bar. This is a great little watering hole with a lot of history and some impressive taxidermy to look at while you guzzle down Busch light from an ice cream sunday glass. Exactly the kind of place I like to drink some beers with friends.

A must stop for hamburger lovers. The history of their unique patty cooker, the taxidermy, and the laid back atmosphere make this an excellent stop for folks looking for the best burger in town. Perfectly seasoned burgers sitting in between pillowy buns is what you should expect when you have their burgers. This is a top 5 burger spot. Do not miss!

We just married here! I am from NH and chose this place. It was great! Nobody else do it! We were probably the only ones! Let’s keep it that way. Beatrice was one of our witnesses. She was clutch and a truly amazing person. We wanted to buy her drinks but she refused and instead bought US drinks. Burgers were simple and yum, don’t expect gourmet but if you want a no frills friendly dive, this place fits the bill.
