Great spot by the river for food and drinks. They have a nice seating area and live music. The wings were pretty great. We had hot and lemon pepper. We also had a brat which was tasty.

I had a few bites of a bratwurst and a few fries. TBH, I’d never had bratwurst b4 and that’s why I went to that restaurant. Is bratwurst skin really that difficult to chew through?!? It had no flavor. I doused it with mustard. The fries tasted a bit of old grease. The small bottle of water cost $3.00! But I’m complaining. The woman who took my order was friendly and so was one of the cooks. They had a live band starting at 2pm. The view from where I sat in the window was pleasant. They have bathrooms.

Perfect place to sit outside, listen to music, watch some football and hang out with friends.

Food is simple bar food. Order at the window and wait for your number to be called.

Go with the refillable mugs for beer – come back at any time for a $12 refill.

If you park at their lot – you get a discount once you go in!

We asked what was good on the menu from the staff who seemed annoyed we were ordering. (both employees) We usually do this to start conversations with our “servers” not that you could call them that. The food had no seasoning or flavor… (I’m a little food snob if I’m paying for food I want it to be better than what I could make at home or match) the drinks weren’t very good either sadly but it’s not like we could ask them to maybe add something because they are not approachable people. The view was good and that’s about it.

This is the worst place in the area, the cashier doesn’t have an idea of what charisma means, cheap quality kraut, bratwurst’s sausage is completely raw, bread has a mold taste, fries was at 7$ a ridiculous price, no dogs allowed and insulting signs all the place. Better places around the area with more affordable prices and better quality. Don’t stop by this place.

OK food for a high price. My husband loves bratwurst & sauerkraut. This one was meh. I had a turkey and Swiss melt. Was totally disappointed when it came on toast. I was looking forward to buttered toast.
I guess if you park there and get $20 off, you can get a free lunch…..almost.
Oh yeah. There is a 3.95% service charge on all orders even if you pay cash. What the heck? Paying almost 4% of your bill to just eat there? And we didn’t know that if we didn’t ask for the detailed receipt.
Food is def not worth the price.

One of our favorite spots to grab a weekend beer. They have some selection of decent craft beer that doesn’t taste like water. The food is good as well. Nothing fancy, but good with the beer. The best part is atmosphere: drinking and looking at running water is the best. Overall would recommend as not too fancy place for weekends drink or two.

Paul’s Margarita Deck in Helen, GA, offers a relaxed atmosphere with a fun vibe, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists. The outdoor seating provides scenic views of the Chattahoochee River, enhancing the dining experience.

The staff was friendly and efficient with bartenders who are quick to serve cold, delicious drinks, including a variety of margaritas and beers.

The menu features American classics like burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers. The fries were perfectly cooked, but the grilled cheese sandwich was like charcoal.

Live entertainment, including DJs playing nostalgic music, adds to the lively atmosphere. The establishment also offers parking, which is convenient for visitors.

Overall, Paul’s Margarita Deck provides a pleasant dining experience with room for improvement in food consistency.

Decent food. You order food and drinks up front and pick up the food when ready. They have a nice choice of food options. Most that we ordered was pretty good. The loaded nachos were the standout and was loaded with chunks of meat. Just don’t expect much in the layout of the place. It’s very basic with plenty of TVs for watching sports and a live band at the far end.
