*Warning* This morning my wife and I went here for breakfast! I ordered a cup of cream of mushroom and she ordered farmers omelet. I received my cup of soup, it was smelling good and looking good. I do a taste test from the top. I dipped the spoon and stirred it up and BAM, a hair! I pick it out. I stir the cup again and WAHBAM, another hair and it’s a different color!!!!! I leave the spoon down on the table with the hairs and go for the fork. I dip the fork in and stir it up and yet again a THIRD hair!!!! That’s awful, I went and asked the old lady at the register to come over my table so I can show her but she ignores me to eat her piece of bread. So I say please cancel the entire order. The waitress comes with the farmers omelet and we say we aren’t eating here. My wife shows her the soup and all she says oh a hair. We are like no it’s HAIRS, meaning multiple! The waitress gets annoyed walks away then comes back and says you’re good sorry.

Pass this place a few times and was always busy so decided to try it.
Love the decor very comfortable inside.
I have a shrimp basket and the shrimp was over cooked and I got curly fries but wasn’t told there would be a extra charge.
Would I go back. Nope there are much better diners to go to.

Staff here were so nice and the local community obviously loves their diner.
Food was excellent. We were surprised by the large portions. None of us could finish our meal. The Matzo ball soup on special was absolutely wonderful. We took dessert home. Cakes were ok. I’d pass generally on the cakes again.

This place is great. Never had a bad meal here. Service is great. Even the bus boy helps my wife get around. Prices are fine. Not too much more than a fast food joint.
Its one of the last diners around in this area. They got to be doing something right!

Stopped in tonight to get some food to go and I was thoroughly impressed. The wings are good, the French onion soup was actually amazing and the mozzarella sticks were good but the burger… even after a 20 min car ride the burger was amazing. I got a regular bacon cheeseburger deluxe it tasted like it came off a charbroil grill which is the best freaking way to cook a burger. I should have taken a picture but I ate it too fast. I’m also picky with burgers BUT this place is cool the food is good staff is really attentive and friendly I’d go out of my way to go have a burger here again.

I’m honestly not sure how this place has so many good reviews. We just moved to the area and tried this place for breakfast a couple of weeks ago. We were looking for a nice friendly diner with a solid breakfast menu. What we walked in to was one of the rudest establishments we have ever visited – arguably on par or worse than Karen’s Diner (in the UK) or Dick’s Last Resort (in the US) where you are paying to be insulted. Example 1: Hostess: A table or booth? Me: Either one is fine. Hostess: I guess you just take what you can get, eh? Example 2: Us: We just moved here from out of state and are looking forward to getting settled. Waitress: Why would you want to move here? Example 3: Waitress handing us our receipt at the end of the meal: Well, I guess welcome to New Jersey, heh (half laugh, half cough). In addition, it seems like this is the watering hole where the regulars come to complain about their lives to the staff. The food we received was of very poor quality and taste. My husband ordered an omelette, but here you have to ask and pay extra for any cheese on all of their omelettes. Otherwise, it’s just egg and whatever meat/vegetable is ordered. That’s a European omelette- not a US diner omelette. Seriously, who in the US does that? What he received was rubbery and overcooked. The eggs Benedict was flavorless, and I had what was likely food poisoning afterwards. We thought that their saving grace might be their deserts and baked goods. We spotted their giant cookies and decided to take one home. We ordered a chocolate chip cookie. We received a very stale, dry sugar cookie that had a ton of mini chocolate chips thrown on the top and bottom of the cookie – after it was baked and cooled long enough so that the chocolate chips just fell off the cookie. Again – who actually does this?!? Maybe their dinner service is better. We won’t be back to find out – too expensive for horrible service and below subpar food. Even the atmosphere was subpar. In better days it looks like it would have a classic American diner vibe. However, it seemed like the place is breaking down and is in dire need of a renovation/ significant service.

Never heard of this diner until today, a friend of mine came by and mentioned it so we decided to give it a try, glad we did.
A nice welcoming smile from the guy who seat us and a nice server really attentive.
We ordered fired chicken , fish and Chips and a cheese philly stake in a wrap, plus Mc and cheese bites, everything was really good and tasty, the chicken was crispy and not grease at all so the fish, the philly wrap was loaded and yummy.
But the best part was that super delicious cheesecake!! Super creamy!!! , we will coming back soon for sure.

Nice diner, staff were all great, with quick service. Food was good. Lobster bisque soup was tasty but very thick, added an ice cube and it was better. Nice place to stop for a meal or snack.

There must be a good reason why you are in business for over 70 years, simple recipe great food great service and fair prices.
Great option if you are in the area, breakfast options are great, big portions, omelets are very delicious sausages and bacon cooked to perfection, you must try the raspberry ice tea.
Staff are nice and attentive, plenty parking.
It may look small but it’s very accommodating inside, I will definitely go again to try the lunch menu,
I highly recommend it.

Classic Jersey diner. Food is fresh. Our server offered to make a fresh pot of decaffeinated coffee for me. Clean, no contact rest rooms. Reasonable prices. A great place to eat.
