Fantastic restaurant in a popular area in Bremen. Went there in June 2024 and took me 18 months to review, sorry I’m lazy.
The place is simple to reach on foot or by transport and has a really good vibe. The staff are friendly and helpful and can recommend you a famous dish.
I know I should have tried a restaurant local to Bremen but I couldn’t help it – I had to go to this place and order the Weiswurst with the famous pretzel and weisbier, and yes, they do have Munich food in Bremen!
Overall the food is delicious so you can’t go wrong with anything from the menu.
I take my hat off to the chefs and staff, and I would recommend a visit.

We had the chance to eat outside in the barrel, the food is really good, tasty and on Tuesday it’s -15% on all snitchzel. Paulaners crafted beers also good. Service is ok but a bit slow, they can be overloaded.
The payment system propose to add tip automatically from+7% to +15%, I find that pushy.

This place was perfect and accommodating for a group of 5 of us. They promptly responded for a reservation via email – for some reason it was only showing 4 pm and 8pm but we wanted something in between and were able to get a table. Changes were responded to quickly with no hassle. The waitress was attentive, servers promptly bringing out our food and nicely presented. We ordered a variety of different dishes..I was pleased with my beef tartare accompanied with salad and bread. Quite extensive choice on their menu including some vegan options, which is impressive! Nice location too near the water. It was recommended by a handful of people and glad we tried it. A lively atmosphere with drinks available, and the reservation allowed 3.5 hours.. more than we needed nice to not feel rushed. Would recommend!

Great place with German, mostly Bavarian food. Schnitzel and pork knuckle were amazing. Fresh beer from the tap. Friendly and welcoming staff. When it is warm, it is quite nice to be on a terrace.

This place is simply wonderful. Traditional German food and everything was really delicious. I had Wiener schnitzel with potato salat which was excellent. For dessert we had chocolate mousse and apple strudel. The flavours were amazing. Top marks to the chefs here
The staff were all really friendly. A special mention to Attila who looked after us all night and recommended some great dishes. He is great. We will come again.

During our trip to Bremen, we stopped by for a drink. It was a very pleasant biergarten with a lovely view We were lucky to find a table by the canal, but just as we sat down, it started to rain, so we had to move under an umbrella Still, it was enjoyable. We ordered the curry-spezial; the fries got a bit too soggy from the curry sauce on the sausage but other than that, I liked it.
