To be honest, I didn’t have the highest expectations. But, this place definitely surprised me. The food was better than I had expected. The cheddar biscuits were a highlight. We tried the chicken & dumplings, the fried fish, & the ribs for our meats. The salad, the broccoli casserole, the yams, & okra for our sides. The fish was perfectly fried, the ribs were tender (a bit sweet, but good balance to the saltiness of some of the other dishes), and the dumplings were soft, satisfying, but a tad salty. Our server Nicoll was incredibly friend & went above and beyond. Overall, great value for the price & we ended up with much more than we could eat.

I love love love this place! Been to Pigeon Forge 4 times now and this was me and my girlfriend’s first time trying Paula Deen’s Restaurant (January 16, 2026)! Every other time has been packed and we came around the “dead season” and were finally able to get in! And let me tell you, we loved it!! The restaurant is beautiful. Our waitress Olivia was a sweetheart and really took care of us! I loved every bowl of food we received, but then candied yamssssssssss!!! Whewwww! They were delicious! We will be back for sure. Thank y’all for everything. God bless y’all ❤️✝️

Ps, I had to take a picture of the bones from the ribs to show y’all how good they were! Nothing left

I was very impressed! The food was amazing. The biscuits are to die for. The whole experience was very pleasing. I love how there are no tvs in the restaurant. It’s an all you can eat with many options but it’s not like a regular buffet they bring it out to you. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

The food alone would not bring me back, but the whole experience is what makes it a repeat! Dont get wrong, the food was good, but just your average food. It is served home style which is a nice way to get a little of everything verses what’s usually just brought out on your plate. Being just my husband and myself, the basic pick plan was more then enough food with leftovers to spare.
Your adventure starts when you arrive and check in (if you made a reservation). In the meantime the whole entrance floor is a store featuring many Paul Deen exclusive merchandise and great props for photo opportunities. When received a text after 10 minutes letting us know to make our way to the host stand. From there you are taken upstairs to the open dinning area. The view was great!! In this location you’re overlooking the island and the famous Faris wheel. Made you feel like you were in the space needle in a sorta way. Our waiter was fast, and very friendly. We found ourselves chatting with other tables and comparing what dishes we each had tried. I would recommend, was had a great time. Thank you to all the staff and hopefully next time we’re in town we’ll see y’all again!

Excellent food, and service! We went on a busy Sunday, and waited an hour. I’m not complaining, because we passed time on the Island until they texted when our table was ready. The gift shop was very nice, and affordable. The food was incredible! We ordered the 3 meal family dinner and had enough that we couldn’t finish it all. We drank blueberry and strawberry lemonade that was so refreshing. The inside was nice and clean. We had a beautiful view of the island from the big windows, while sitting on the second floor. The only complaint I have is the restrooms are downstairs, and very small! So be sure to use the bathroom before being seated, otherwise you will have to take a trip back down the escalator.

Was shocked to find out that everything on the menu was all you can eat. It definitely let us try more options than anticipated, but all the food was very fattening and greasy. It was wonderful at first, especially with the appetizer biscuits, but it got tough to eat fast. Definitely fun and worth it one time, don’t think I’ll be going back any time soon however. Fun little gift shop downstairs!

Food wasn’t that great we had breakfast, food was all cold and for the price was not appealing – menu was not explained very well and the fact that our reservation was for 9:45 am and they shut down the kitchen at 10:15 am to begin lunch! We were told we could not get anymore food with an all you can eat restaurant! I was thoroughly disappointed in this tea! I will not be retuning! I expected more from Paula Deans Restaurant! First two pictures was of my good! Second one was of food I expected form a Southern Gal!

This was our second time eating here and enjoyed it just as much. It was fairly busy so I recommend making a reservation. It was a little slow once we were seated to see our server, but after that the drinks and food were quick to arrive. Food is bottomless. We got the fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, and fried fish. For our sides, we chose the creamed corn, green beans, Mac n cheese, and creamed potatoes. For me the highlights were the fried fish and green beans. Would return again!

You come for the experience. This is a lovely 2nd floor restaurant, with oversized picture windows! The meatloaf is savory & tangy(4.5/5). The ribs are overly sweet & tough(3/5). The poppyseed salad is fresh(5/5). The candied yams are perfectly sweet(5/5). The macaroni and cheese is similar to Stouffer’s (3.5/5). The broccoli casserole was my child’s favorite (5/5). The cheese biscuits were small & similar to red lobster (4/5). The desserts used to be included, but now are an additional $1.99 a piece! Drinks aren’t included. This is a one time thing, although I’ve heard their breakfast is tasty?
