Amazing experience from the time we walked in we were greeted with endless smile. We sat at the bar for a quick bite and drinks. We had a salt and pepper shrimp which was recommended and trust me it didn’t disappoint. The fried cauliflower was also good. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

The NY Strip was fantastic. It took a little long to come out. But it was worth the wait. The manager came over without me even saying a word and gave me $25 off the check because it took longer than usual. That is the way you take care of a customer. I will be back for sure.

It felt really warm and welcoming inside Paul Martin’s American Grill in El Segundo when I visited with someone. The atmosphere had this lively glow that teenagers would enjoy a lot, and I noticed a lot of teenagers there having fun talking and eating together. The space felt comfortable to walk around in, and the lighting made everything look inviting in a way that felt almost playful for a restaurant. The food looked nice enough that teenagers would definitely want to take pictures of it, which makes the place even better for them. I didn’t realize how easy it was to enjoy myself there until I sat down and took in the whole environment. I appreciated how relaxed everything felt and how I never felt rushed at all. I only visited Paul Martin’s American Grill one time in my life before making this review. It was one of the most enjoyable and easygoing restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I would highly recommend that even teenagers go there because it gives them a place to eat good food, take pictures, and feel creative. I lived for 24 years. I’m not physically or mentally 24 years old. In the summertime in the year 2024, I learned that I’m still physically and mentally 18 years old. I also learned in the summer that year that my prefrontal cortex is way more developed than average 25‑year‑olds’ prefrontal cortex in the human brain.

Food is excellent! Beautiful restaurant. Met with a group of 8, informed we could not have separate checks which ruined the meal having to figure out each bill. Our server with the dreadlocks was kind, but acted rushed & was sarcastic, also I think you should address your customers as ma’am & or Sir, not beautiful. The other server was very nice, and addressed all of our needs. Lastly how can you already add a 20% tip you need to let the customer decide if the service was worth 20% we didn’t want to tip 20% to the dread guy only 15% and 20%to the other guy…all in all I highly recommend.

I’ve wanted to visit this restaurant for a long time, but somehow it never worked out, and now I finally got there. And I’m extremely disappointed, everything we managed to try was a maximum of 3 points, i.e. edible, but I can’t say it was tasty. i.e. it’s a one-time place, I definitely won’t go again.

Underwhelming flavors and decent service.
This decently upscale restaurant fell a little short with the delivery of good flavor or presentation for the value. The cheddar biscuits are pleasant but still tasted box-made. The steaks looked pretty solid with really good texture and char. However, the “Brick” chicken was certainly a disappointment as it was difficult to eat, lacked much flavor, and was extremely messy. The service was steady and reserved. The bar ran out of multiple alcohol choices also during a Wednesday dinner. Also, the bathroom sinks are pitiful.

It was my first time here. Every bite was mouth watering. I forced myself to stop eating my delicious steak so that I can enjoy it one more time. Loved my drinks, stuck to the drink I started with though. Loved the appetizers and dessert!! I’d definitely return!!

My first experience at Paul Martin’s was outstanding, great ambiance, the food was amazing. I love their Brussels sprouts, well seasoned and flavorful with a hint of bacon and caramelized onions. I believe they were sautéed. I had a great time. The waiters were very accommodating they even took great care of a food allergy I have. I will go again.
