Paul Bunyan Bar and Grill is a must-visit if you’re in the area! From the moment we walked in, we were taken in by the unique Western saloon vibe and rugged decor — it really sets the tone for a fun and relaxed dining experience.
The menu has something for everyone — burgers, wraps, steaks, sandwiches, salads, onion rings, and more. We especially loved the pretzels with beer cheese & sweet potato fries— absolutely delicious! Their burgers were juicy, fresh, and cooked to perfection. We sat across from the open kitchen and got to see the cooks in action — it’s clear they work hard and take pride in what they do.
Our server was fantastic — friendly, engaging, and even gave us great tips for Glacier National Park. The service overall was top-notch. Prices were very reasonable. There aren’t many restaurant bars nearby, which makes this spot a great choice. Highly recommend if you’re passing through or exploring the area!

Let my husband pick this one. I ordered the street tacos. Just so so. Was missing the coleslaw. If I returned, I wouldn’t order this again. Husband had a burger and tots, he said his was good. The staff were nice and the decor, whimsical.

About a five minute wait for a table, varied menu, friendly laid back service. My order was mixed up but they didn’t charge for it. Food was good sized portions and very tasty

Food quality / price (value) rating 8.5. The atmosphere is “Paul Bunyan”, a Western saloon with a pack of One-Armed-Bandits to complete the vision. The menu is exactly what you’d expect, including burgers, wraps, steak, salads, nachos.. There’s something for everyone. They have about ten beers on tap, including some local brews you can’t get elsewhere. I had the Buffalo Wings, and a couple of IPA’s, and the wife had the “Apple Salad”, a combination of Spring mixed greens, chicken, apple, avocado and fresh feta cheese, and choice of dressing, and a couple Pinot Grigios. We were both very happy with our food and drinks. The service was great – supplied by my new favorite waitress, Mariah, who was personable and engaging. The prices were very reasonable , and the place is kid friendly. They’re open all year round, seven days a week from early Spring to late October, and five days a week during the Winter. They serve lunch and dinner only.
There is live entertainment sprinkled about the calendar, so call if you are interested in a show. The owners of this business have owned several restaurants, and have made this place a cross of Western history and imaginative story telling. There aren’t too many restaurant / bars in this immediate area, making this one is a good choice.

I would have given this place 1 star, but their beer and nacho appetizer was great. Other than that, the food was terrible as was the service. All of our buns for our sandwiches came out very burnt and the chicken they put on my nearly $15 bowman sandwich was pathetically small. The bun for my bowman sandwich also had a piece ripped off the top like the chef in back was just throwing stuff together as quick as possible and not caring. You would think that meant our food came out quickly, but we waited nearly 25 minutes for our nachos appetizer and nearly 40 minutes for our entrees in a nearly empty restaurant. The waitress also barely ever visited our table. I would not recommend coming here until they fix their food and service

Atmosphere was great! Uniqueness was gaming poker machines and Bar. We decided on 3 appetizers instead of entrees. Wings were good, and Sliders. Nachos were ehhhh. Wouldn’t order them again, maybe the ground beef would’ve been a better option. Our waitress was friendly and knew the local beers on tap and good recommendations.

We stopped in just a few minutes before the kitchen closed (9 pm) and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. They let us order an entrée as an appetizer, and when the chicken tenders initially came out undercooked, they remade them perfectly after the kitchen was technically closed and even comped them from the bill. My fajita wrap was excellent, came out fast, and the beer was served in an ice-cold glass, which was a great touch. Friendly service, great food, and genuine hospitality—definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area.

Excellent restaurant with the best fresh hamburgers using real beef not the frozen pressed burgers with additives & chemicals!!

My nephew said it was the best sandwich he’d ever had. The steak and burger were amazing. Great sweet potato fries. Fish and onion rings weren’t as good.
The decor is very appropriate for the area. Loved the metal work.
There’s a bar, a stage and some gaming.
Bathrooms were clean and I really liked the door latches.

I was invited to meet a group there. It was a Sunday and was very loud! I was able to just hear the people at the table. The restaurant was very lively and has a warm feel to it. Screens showing the football game were able to be watched from almost every where in the establishment. Overall service was pretty good and the food was satisfying.
