Labor Day 2020.
Our first time trying out Patxi’s. After reading many reviews posted since the middle of March, it seemed like many of the complaints should not be attributed to the restaurant…
we decided to phone in the order and pick it up ourselves since we are only 10 minutes away.
I mentioned all the comments about the delivery service and they mentioned that they no longer use that service and had switched to their own delivery service available only on the weekends.
Far and away the most delicious pizza I have had in the area! The 10″ size Old Chicago pan pizza was flavorful, great crisp crust, lots of fillings and delicious sauce! They switched out the green bell pepper for more red bell pepper.
I’m stuffed and I have the other half of the pie to look forward to!

Patxi’s is a Lafayette classic and they have the best pizza.
One of my all time favorites is the spinach pesto deep dish w/ chicken.

Vegan options is a great plus! Loved the deep dish pizza, the thin crust was OK. The additional toppings a bit pricy can add up quickly to the price. The staff is nice. Great location.

Vegan deep-dish pizza was delicious- I have been missing pizza for years now since becoming vegan and this one hits all the buttons- lots of tangy and rich well-developed tomato sauce, soft, melty cheese, plenty of garlic, fresh spinach, and the crust was a wonderful whole wheat, baked to perfection! Really, it is a gourmet pizza and I was very, very happy to have discovered it. I have to say it is the best vegan pizza or best pizza period that I have had. Also grateful they were open on Labor Day. Also very courteous staff and pizza was ready as scheduled.

I am bewildered and disappointed.
I got two pizzas delivered last night and both seemed undercooked. The dough was pale without any good leoparding at all and even the crust had barely any crunch. The middle of the pizzas tasted and felt like eating bread dough. The dusting of corn flour on the bottom crunched in the teeth in a displeasing fashion and had more flavor than the pizza itself.
Probably the worst part was that the photos all looked quite tasty.
The toppings were decent but were unable to save a $20 10″ pizza.

Really dissatisfied. I ordered a “deep dish” pizza. This is thinner than a normal pizza and just has the sauce on top pretending to be a deep dish pizza. Embarrassing really because I’ve had pizza from other Patxi locations and it’s been amazing. This location has really done the Patxi name wrong.

The best Chicago style pizza. We really enjoyed the food and the vibe in the restaurant. Great service. Got there early enough to try out the happy hour which has some great deals. If you order a deep or stuffed pizza expect to wait about 25 minutes as they take a little longer to cook. We actually called ahead and order before arriving.

Pizza sauce needs some work. Lacking flavor, no chunks like tomatoe sauce out of a can. Lacking garlic and spices.
Sausage was like ground beef, rather strange consistency.

Small place with attentive staff. Nice bar area with some good craft beer taps. We only had an appetizer & got pizza for take-out. Deep-dish pizza was somewhat drowning in pizza sauce & could barely see our toppings, but it did taste good.
