Best. Chicken. Tenders. Ever.
I say this with no hyperbole. We stopped here randomly for gas and road snacks, and we were honestly a little surprised at the price (not cheap), and also not such fans of steak-fry-style fries… but hungry enough to go for it. I speak for my whole family when I say I am SO glad we did!
These are not nuggets. These are not even the good tenders from a pub or nice restaurant. Each of these is like half a chicken breast, beautifully seasoned and cooked… three of these could be a meal. And despite none of us being steak fry fans, we had NO trouble finishing off the savory, salty potato logs among our box of treats.
We will definitely be stopping here again!

I live locally in Middlebury & my son goes to the Highschool right up the road, so we are frequently in this pantry. I think they recently changed owners or something, my omelette was horrible (no cheese & the peppers & onions were so hard). So I went in about 1/2 hr later to get two egg & cheese on a Kaiser roll…. That was even worse. The roll was burnt on both sides and barely an egg on my sons sandwich and mine. We won’t be going back in… not good service or quality food! When I went back in to ask for a soft non burnt roll the guy at the counter (assuming new owner) put an uncut roll in a bag and rudely said “Have a good day.”
This is a small town, word spreads and being a business owner myself, I’m disappointed.

I ordered an omelette and it took 25 minutes to be made, and it wasn’t actually an omelette. It was a fried egg wrapped around the turkey, avocado, and spinach. There are no napkins available and the team is very unfriendly. I hadn’t been here in six months and it looks like there was a change in the ownership I will not return. Are they also think that there was one egg based upon the size of the serving? And it was $$10 for the omelette.

I really enjoy 5he fried chicken and french fries here. Tastes amazing and is priced fairly. The sandwiches are just as good with a great variety to choose from. Staff is friendly and its kept very clean.

Stopped on our way home from a road trip. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll. Basically a roll. Had one egg, one slice of cheese and one slice of bacon. Couldn’t change tip for electronic payment which had a 15% minimum. No restroom for customers.

A $10. Sandwich that had a piece of chicken barely a 1/8” thick, 1/2 a slice of tomato and an ok amount of lettuce was as moist as a kiln dried pine board. Even with Swiss cheese and honey dijion mustard on it. The chicken was cold and fell an inch short of reaching the edges of the hard roll. Not worth the money ..

As someone who went to culinary school, they have easily the best cheesecake I’ve ever had.
Everyone was very nice and down to earth, food was quick and delicious.

Always great food and coffee! Love that they have pre-made salads ready to grab and go, and are always super attentive to my order. Friendly staff and an easy in/out parking lot with lots of places for vehicles if any size. Great fried chicken!

Patty’s Pantry has always been a staple for my family and me. You can always expect great food and service with a smile! The owners are dedicated to being a great, consistent, local option for a quick lunch or cool drink on a hot day. They always have fresh salads and treats baked fresh daily.
