Who are you, Patty, you fish taco magician! Now although I’m partial to cake and pastries, I enjoy a damn fine fish taco from time to time. I had been in Westport the day before scouring the fish tacos scene and it proved to be evasive. But then I found myself walking to the Lighthouse near Bells with hunger pangs and the fish tacos crept back into my mind. I must have them, I thought to myself. So I checked my phone to see if I had service and pulled up google maps and I found Patty’s. It was around 11 so I had some time before they opened. I decided to head that way after reading the google reviews. I was a bit shocked to see 20 bucks for two tacos but they were the best damn fish tacos I’ve ever had and here’s the thing, I don’t even enjoy most seafood! But I didn’t have to spend 20 bucks but I decided to. It’s a mostly seasonal tourist spot that probably hurts a bit in the winter. Gotta offset that down time with a higher price, it is what it is. I will be back to this area sooner than later and Patty’s is a huge reason for that. Oh and the incredible sceney!

Best fish tacos I’ve had outside of California! Such a cute spot with great seating in and outside. The folks running it are so sweet and everything we tried was perfect. The escabeche was amazing and the salsas are on point. Very authentic food with a coastal twist. 10/10

Patty is amazing! It’s a small family run operation, if she’s open, please stop by! The fish tacos are spot on… fresh halibut, shredded cabbage, red fresh tomatoes, and great salsa. The salsa bar is fresh and the picketed onion relish is perfect on the taco. Please stop in and say hello, grab a quick taco to go or dine in!

It’s easy to tell why this place has such a high rating, from the home made tortillas to the hand battered locally caught halibut. The fish tacos come in an order of two (no individual fish tacos available), I belive it was about $20 for an order with a side of pico de gallo which was slightly spicy but complimented the fish perfectly and ate well with the provided toritilla chips. We also tried the “octodogs” which are hotdogs sliced to look like little octopus served on a bed of french fries, perfect for little kids and kids at heart. Overall a great experience with great food.

Came to visit Long Beach it was a 5 hour drive to get here and stopped by this little cute place locally owned. The customer service was amazing here and they have outdoor seating which is great since I had my dog with me. Definitely recommend this place

We were there on Saturday around noon, and they already ran out of the Halibut. However, their cod fish and chip and cod taco were also fresh and very good. We love their pickle onion and carrot as well. The restaurant shared the parking lot with the museum, but it is limited.

Super tasty! I said yum yum yummy with each bite. Love the charming little interior with great music. Couple picnic tables outside. And our weekend mornings a older gentleman plays guitar and sings in the grass in the corner of the parking lot. Highly recommend

Amazing fish tacos at Patty’s. I ate the tacos 3 hours after buying them and I could tell they would have been even better when fresh. The tortillas seemed like they were freshly made in house and the fried fish had a nice crispy fry and flavor. Really liked their tortilla chips which they may have also made in house. Will make sure to return if I’m back in Long Beach.

I wanted to try something new in Long Beach, I found this hidden spot. Nachos and ceviche to cool down the day, I never try nachos so good like this, they are simple but good and the reason is not other but fresh made chips, thats it. Ceviche comes with a bag of tortilla chips. Delicious!!!! Definitely a spot to save in the map and to return in the coming visits to LB.
Everything that they do they is to order so don’t expect fast food wait. Its worth it!
