Took my son Jason to one of my Dad’s favorite hot dog trucks today, Patties Franks in Brick, NJ. I got the #1 combo…three dogs, chips and drink. Toppings- one with mustard, one with cheese, and one with the Hot Mashed (perfectly cooked chunky mashed potatoes with hot cherry peppers mixed in…nice kick to it). The Hot Mashed is also one of my Dad’s favorite toppings. Topped off with a Yoo Hoo. Jason got a plain dog and a Pepsi.

Been there a few times now. Not the most personable guy, but who cares it’s not a restaurant. The hotdogs were great with both the hot and sweet onions.

I enjoyed Pattie’s hotdogs. Boiled with a snap. I especially enjoyed her spicy onion topping. It’s a popular food truck down the shore.
Before you take the drive, though, make sure she is there and isn’t closed early or opening late. Have had several instances recently when she wasn’t there during scheduled times.
